possibly. Or maybe they saw the shenanigans of trying to lose his way to the contested convention and “work the system” to take the delegates by hook or by crook and that turned off other voters.
In other words, true or not, Trumps accusations that the system was “rigged”, combined with the foolish comments of GOP moderates that they would make sure to choose the winner in the convention, convinced voters that despite whatever Cruz said, he was colluding with the establishment.
Trump simply beat him by knowing what the voters feared and hated.
In other words, Trump played on people's fears and emotion and won in spite of his status as an embarrassingly childish candidate who had no substance and next to no policy knowledge.
tRump didn't win anything, he was handed this thing by Faux news, Savage, and Rush. The fix was in from the beginning. All you tRumpsters can't seem to read polls that show tRump had more people voting against him than for him. He was winning with 30% and an unending commercial provided by Hannity, O'Reilly, Rush, Greta..et. al. He still is upside down on votes just from the Republicans. General election? Not even close.
If that's the case, the voter base is off the reservation in terms of what matters and what doesn't.
No one has love for the GOP. They designed the screwed up system and every candidate had an equal opportunity to learn, understand and work said system.
Cruz got these delegates from states like Colorado when Donald Trump had not yet received the required number of delegates to be guaranteed the nomination. What do people...expect Cruz to do? Not participate in that system because Donald Trump made a strategic decision not to? That's ridiculous.
The GOP deserved blame for setting up a delegate process that didn't involve the popular vote...not the candidate charged with working within that messed up system.
Trump BRIBED the leading Democrat presidential nominee....a Clinton at that...to attend his wedding. He gave political donations that helped re-elect Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid! If that's not "colluding" with the establishment, I don't know what is.
Lindsay Graham says Ted could be murdered on the Senate floor and not be convicted, Boehner calls Cruz Lucifer and a miserable SOB, and Cruz called out McConnell on the Senate floor...but Ted is an establishment shill? LOL
This was a media snow job and a brilliant effort of social engineering / manipulation.

Carson screwed up by not being prepared. Wake the hell up.

@gonefishin, what he’s talking about is that many millions of people want a conservative candidate who does not suffer under delusions of being an anointed prophet of God.
Cruz’s father, wife, and Glen Beck, sabotaged Cruz with their constant stream of hard core religious zealotry. I want a conservative, like Newt Gingrich, who can stand up for American principles without sounding like the Christian version of the Taliban.

So defeat is a preferable option for the butt sore Cruz-bots?! Figures.
Defeat while living/voting my values is preferable to a lying, flipflopping, big gov't, eminent domain, gun controlling, single payer health care, contributing to liberal politicians, being eyeball deep in the system, bankruptcy filing, self centered Trump.
At least I'll be able look at myself in the mirror every morning and know I did the right thing.
Ditto, dcrabb. Trumpers can deal with this one on their own. I like the Charles Spurgeon quote in the article, "Of two evils, choose neither". I have three children that have to live on this earth for another 70-80 years. I am not going to be a part of ruining their future. If that means Clinton in office, well, so be it. We'll just have to wait for the next election cycle to hopefully find someone who can undo the mess Trump will put us in. Hopefully, all these trumpers will have learned their lesson.

He hasn’t said that and you’ll hear him in the near future reaching out and trying to reassure the Cruz supporters that he will support and defend the constitution, but you KNOW Hillary won’t.
HA HA HA, thats a good one. Absolutely hilarious!! Trump supporting and defending the Constitution. I about peed myself, that is so funny, NOT. The only constitution Trump would support and defend is his own.
No wait, you are right, Trump will SAY that he cares about the constitution. That is the politically expedient thing to say. And we know Trump, say whatever the people want to hear cause values don't mean anything to him.
Nothing Trump says will convince me otherwise. If he indeed said he doesn’t need Cruz supporters, fine. I’m staying home.
Tr. supporters can own this one. Let them try to make this happen without the Cruz supporters. I don’t want MY name anywhere near this disaster-in-the-making. Good luck with that. (not).

So you write in Ted Cruz, but under it write in Hillary Clinton. YOU are responsible for everything that happens next.
[-2] May 4, 2016 at 3:06pm
The FACT that some within the GOP would rather have Hillary Clinton in the Oval Office–despite knowing without any doubt how she would shred the constitution–proves that these same individuals never intended to resist the Democrats under Obama because they benefited and profited under that disorder.
The FACT that smart people like Mark Levin have somehow forgotten (?) that President Trump would still have to work with the House of Representatives and could not act unilaterally demonstrates how they are guilty of demagoguery or selective amnesia.
Now let’s face a fact: Ted Cruz, God bless him, could NEVER win the general election.
And the things said about Trump today were the same things said about Ronald Reagan.
1) Trump is without a doubt more conservative than Hillary.
2) Trump and his family are pro-2nd Amendment and have been for a long time
3) Whatever judicial nominee he puts forward, that nominee would have to be approved by the Senate. So Trump can’t do anything without the GOP say so anyway.
4) there is NO REAL EVIDENCE that Trump would “destroy the constitution”. Nothing at all.
5) There is TONS of evidence that Hillary WOULD destroy the constitution.
So you can take a chance on Trump and use your GOP representatives to rein him in, or you can sit on the sidelines and GUARANTEE that all of our rights will be removed.

It looked to me she was trying to get the kids to walk but the disrespectful little heathens wouldn’t so she just dragged ‘em. I think that’s ok. As long as they didn’t get hurt, I like her style. If that was my kid and I saw that video I would buy her a bouquet of flowers and then my child would have a whole bunch more to worry about than getting dragged.

The violence is being caused by the national guard and their violent paramilitary groups. This has been proven because the people all have smartphones and have recorded it and posted it. This is why the gvt shut down the internet. Tachira state in particular was ferociously defending its cities and neighborhoods and showing the country how to blockade streets in defense. They needed to shut that down. The military has shot dozens of students. They are a bunch of cowardly tyrants killing unarmed teens and college students. I have even seen videos of them firing tear gas into apartments just to mess with people and this set the building on fire. They shoot at people recording them.

Sara Palins response was a classic. Did you see that?
Sarah Palin is the model for American Patriotism ! She intimidates both the Democrat and Republican leadership by simply speaking the truth regardless of whose feathers she ruffles....we can trust her .
What did Sarah say about this? Everything I've seen Sarah say I believe is right-on right.

It has become a nightmare to buy and build in colorado. i bought 10 acres w well rights andchecked w the county for my ability to have livestock such as goats chickens and horses. all fine. but then the state said we cant provide water for the animals. the officer actually laughed at me and said the animals would have to get water from within the residence.
This is why we are now thinking of leaving the state.

I think they are suing the realtor for lack of disclosure that the property had not been built with proper permitting. it is not frivolous. if you buy a home one assumes that the house was legally constructed.

“”an unfortunate piece of organic matter has made it through.” Pretty nice summary of the entire Obama presidency.
