I used to get so pissed off over nothing until I found out I couldn't afford it anymore..
Now I just sit in my rocker going back-and-forth, hoping I don't fall off..
@Shakemeawake: That is it, today some whiny person has to complain about everything. Parents raised a bunch of entitled little cry babies. It should be spoke of daily on every news channel/station/blog whatever, until these whiners are publicly shamed.

When we paid for Bo Bergdahl the whole atmosphere surrounding how we deal with kidnappers and terrorists changed, and not for the better. This recent action has some roots in covering up the Bergdahl affair.
Shake : Just another ' change ! ' Just another ' fundamental transformation ' of America and our foreign policy . Man, electing a guy whose been mentored by Marxists and is best friends with people with Communist ties does have consequences ! I give you Barack H . Obama !

This guy will raise the level of the whole field of GOP contenders. I am loving it. Strongest field we have put up for a looong time.
I hear that is a great negotiating technique. Don’t hammer out all those pesky details just go ahead and get the deal done and then tend to the details. Sort of like pass the bill then look to see what is in it.
Going to be more like this aspect of 0bamacide... pass it and then declare parts of it not enforceable and to be ignored.

Sometimes Rush is fun to listen to and his analysis is usually right on. This must be part of the fundamental transformation of America Obama was talking about.

Anybody remember ‘Pope on a Rope’ or maybe it was ‘Soap on a Rope’. Anyway they will use either one to wash the facts away just to get what they want.

O.J Simpson, Treyvon Martin, Ferguson and on and on. My frustration has grown with all of you but if there ever was a case for our righteous indignation it is this one – a white kid spewing racist ideals and walks into a black church, CHURCH and murders 9 people during a prayer meeting. It doesn’t much worse than this. Why is it so difficult to reach out to these people in their time of need where it could really make a difference? Are we so calloused that this doesn’t even affect us as a white culture – how bad does it have to get before we can show our humanity? This Senator is at least trying but I am ashamed to say by reading some of these posts maybe we don’t have any hope of healing this.
Your part of the problem with your white culture comment. you are the one dividing America into races.
Fact is if you were born here or came here and became a citizen -(not illegal) then you are a American.
Not a black American, irish American, hispantic American, etc...
Simple an American regardless of color.
We knew this at one time and have forgotten this simple truth or have bypassed it to make money.
After all there is money to be made by playing the race game.

This isn’t about you and your myopic guilt. This is about something bigger than all of us. Something that is going to swallow us up and destroy us unless we do something. This Senator has done something and it could have the effect of healing a rift that is about to tear this nation apart. I for one will take his advice and reach out to the black community today and let them know they have nothing to fear from me. I will stand with those who declare themselves not to be bigots this day and look toward a future free from tearing each other down.
My aren't you gallant.
I think you could have put your point across
without coming across as holier than thou
or snubbing anyone.Your post would have carried much more weight.
I think you misunderstood - I have no myopic guilt - that's my point. I treat people with kindness and respect every day. Thanks for your input.
“This Senator has done something and it could have the effect of healing a rift that is about to tear this nation apart.”
Not a chance.
The rift will never be healed as long as the professional agitators earn who earn their livings keeping tension between races elevated are around.
The racial tension you see is by design. Jackson and dullton have become rich doing so.
Nothing wrong with his note, but if he wants to do something meaningful he can support religious freedom when the time comes…and the time is now.
I agree with you. While the "guilt" comment could put some people on the defensive there is no need to be since you are essentially agreeing with them that there is no cause to feel guilty. And I don't think declaring your good intentions makes you "holier than thou".
blah, blah, blah!! BS!
I agree. We all need to show love to the grieving. Who cares about skin color??
