  Fact is these two did not believe that cell phone was a weapon. I, for one won’t cover for them. If they did think it was a weapon, neither has ANY SA and should be re-phased to work on officer safety. I know guys washed out of phase training for less.

  This officer in NO WAY believed that cellphone was a weapon. I graduated from the San Diego Public Saftey Training Institute (Police Academy) and I remember getting my arse chewed for looking down while writing FI’s or citations. In addition the cover officer never even mentioned the phone during the whole time the contact officer was writing. If they truly believed this was a weapon of some sort the cover officer should be reprimanded for violating officer safety protocols. Something smells in PB.

  The question is not how do the leaders of N. Korea tolerate this. This questions Why do we? All the talk and all the tears mean nothing. Your driving and have no idea what kind of destruction can be wrought by your mishandling of the vehicle you are “in control” of.
