32 : Jesus taught that a person should share his goods and love his neighbor. He did not say that the GOVERNMENT should redistribute ( as in ' steal ' ) the goods of one person to redistribute to another . Jesus and the Church are NOT communists .
Sheriff - you want to back up that garbage?
Acts 4:32 - 5:11: "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. ...And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
uradbcon, I didn't read anything about government in there!
And remember 2 Thessalonians 3:10:
Even when we were with you, we gave you a rule. We said, “Anyone who won’t work shouldn’t be allowed to eat.”
Kind of runs contrary to Communism.
Sounds voluntary to me
sheriff, that is incorrect.
Right, its all contradictory, you cherry pick your passages, they cherry pick theirs and at the end of the day you believe what you want about your religion and use your favorite 2000+ year old passages to prove yourself correct. In this way the bible can be effectively shown to be man-made fiction.
uradbcon....that sounds more like the actions of a Catholic parish serving it's community. No where does the bible say that government is justified in confiscating the fruits of one's labor to re-distribute to the masses against the will of the people being confiscated from.
Uradumbass - I love when someone who's never stepped foot in a Catholic Church tells me what the interpretation of the bible is based on the teachings of the Comminist Manifesto. Sure, next you'll be posting the Bernie garbage that we're already a Socialist country because we have Police and Fire departments.
Yous needs to learn some books good.
So you TOTALLY misinterpret a passage in the Bible and take it TOTALLY out of context, and then you claim that Christianity must be Communist because of a TOTALLY misinterpreted passage taken out of context? You have extremely faulty logical reasoning skills, son.
Wrong Barney Fife!

Hillary doubles those stats on the blaze alone. Big deal

You’ve never heard of someone getting shot over money? Do you live under a rock?
[-12] January 23, 2016 at 9:55am
And not report it. A person who forgets to report that he borrowed a million bucks is not in touch with real Americans.Yes, This IncludesHillary
Your son’s PTSD and domestic violence arrest is Obama’s fault… we get it. Personal responsibility is only the mantra of my beloved Republican party until it becomes politically expedient to make it Obama’s fault. I guess I should just be glad I'm still registered Republican, so I can at least vote against this dingbat's favorite candidate.

You keep on one safe. You’re not defending anybody’s rights. This is a false narrative. In fact you’ve caused more damage than fixed.

I thank God everyday that we have an adult in the white house that won’t start ww3. No matter how much the Republicans want one. Thank you God and thank you Barack Obama
Obama? That you? Hey, nice state of the union lecture last night!
stronger?????? hahahahahhahahhahaha more people are unemployed than there were seven years ago. more are working part time because they can't get full time work. more people are without health care because they can not afford it. (They had it before ACA). our boarder is wide open and no one know who is coming in. The President wants to bring in thousands of under vetted people some who hate us and want to kill us. He doesn't want to enforce laws on the books but he wants to remove guns from the average citizens. He has stirred up more anger and distrust between US citizens of all colors and you say we are safer and stronger.
Yes, I'm sure all that debt we've accumulated, all those people we put on welfare, and that massive jump in underemployment has really made us stronger as a nation.
To say nothing of inept foreign policy that has actually done what Bush was accused of doing: Isolated our allies, emboldened our enemies, and made America look weak.
Racial strife, porous borders, part-time wages....that doesn't make us stronger, but definitely not weaker either. We're sitting on the fence at the moment.
Just imagine if our masses had been able to reap the benefits of a solid education system and affordable higher education for the past thirty years. Most would already be qualified to work better paying jobs than they now hold, earn much higher pay checks…..and pay the government much higher taxes….which of course translates to better infrastructure (if it’s allocated) and much lower national debt. Not to mention almost no one on the dole. Because when you think about it....no one wants to live in the projects,r be on welfare, or live on disability forever. BTW, why do we prevent the disabled from going to college while receiving benefits. Let them improve their lot and get off benefits if they are able.

The act of war is on the united States. They’re the ones in enemy waters.
