  Look at all the other things illegal such as drugs and yet there is no shortage of it.
  where there is a will, there is a way. Fight fire with fire. The reason why this idiot went
  into a elementary school is because down the road at the high school sat a couple of
  police officers that will shoot back.
  Now I dont know if Connecticut high schools have police officers at their schools or not,
  but they sure do here in NC.

  more idiots heard from…ummm….there are a lot of things illegal and/or controlled and it does not stop the flow of it. Liberals need to get a grip.

  I agree with the fact, where there is the will, there is a way. Its that simple and no law will change it.
  It does not matter if it is guns, drugs, or anything else illegal.
  You fight fire with fire by placing a few gunmen at the entrances who will shoot back will make someone more reluctant to go there to start with.
  Many high schools have implemented having at least 2 police officers at the schools. Even Jr high’s have them now. Now its time to cover the elementary schools. Bottom line, no on is going to protect your child better then you will. HOME SCHOOL THEM !!

  Now I am not a judge nor a lawyer not anything of the like. but….

  The U,S, CONSTITUTION is about the powers of Congress. The Bill of Rights is about the right of the people and Declaration of Independence is how this country got started.
  Now on that note….let me say that this….this is in the Declaration of Independence and….
  sovereign states have the right of their legislators to add it to their state constitutions. Do they not ?

  disclaimer: This is not to be perceived in any way as legal advice as I AM NOT an attorney. OPINION ONLY!

  This is a shame because this issue could have been resolved yrs and yrs ago. The fact is, those who govern know this and continues to use this as a tool to keep the people of the country divided.

  First off, there are only 3 issues…..FEDERAL TAXES, STATE TAXES AND SOCIAL SECURITY.
  THAT IS IT.
  Everything else is through contracts. Living wills, last will, insurance beneficiaries, retirement beneficiaries. Even the next of kin issue is resolved through medical power of attorney and regular power of attorney. TAXES AND S.S. are the only issues.

  As for the “marriage” issue…..the purpose is for the “legality” of taxes and s.s. So I can understand these points. Its a fight for the right to live how one may want to live without our govt telling any American how they have to live in order to qualify for something. I can understand this point too.
  However, “marriage” IS NOT just a legal term, it is a “religious” ceremony that takes place giving it it’s legality performed by an ordained or justice. Now on that note…..I see no cause as why those who govern (state level) have not resolved the issue constituting a “civil union” and making it as legal as a traditional marriage………..other then the fact that keeping the country divided on the issue works FOR THEM and not the people.

  I support his right to free speech just as I do that of the owner of Chick Fil A….
  but if this guy had an issue with a company, you go to the owner not an employee.
  Just the same as someone having an issue with the company he worked for, they
  would not waste their time coming to him, they would go to where it counts.

  No this guy acted an azz and he deserved exactly what he got.
