Hey, Jamlilah, cupcake, sweetie-pie…(and…by the way, I am NYC born and bred)…this is just for you.

    “Hey Uncle Sam
Put your name at the top of his list
    And the Statue of Liberty
    Started shakin’ her fist
    And the eagle will fly
    Man, it’s gonna be hell
    When you hear Mother Freedom
    Start ringin’ her bell
And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” – Toby Keith

Oops…you made me so nervous, I just accidentally spilled my scalding hot coffee and sizzling skillet all over you. (singsong) Sorry, sorry, sorry….

I love Cruz. Simply stated, I hope he doesn’t “play nice” the way the spineless McCain and Romney did. Remember these blasts from the past? John McCain: “I admire Senator Obama and his accomplishments and I will respect him,” and “I have to tell you, I have to tell you, he is a decent person, and a person that you do not have to be scared as President of the United States.” It was rubbish then, and it is rubbish now, even as McCain continues to kiss BHO’s backside.

“To the pain…every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, “Dear God! What is that thing,” will echo in your perfect ears. That is what to the pain means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever.” – Westley, “The Princess Bride”

    Do you speak jive?

OK… let’s have this “conversation.” If “black lives matter” so much, why is it that an African-American woman is almost five times likelier to have an abortion than a white woman, according to the CDCP (http://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2014/09/abortions-racial-gap/380251/)? Why does Planned Parenthood disproportionally target black communities? Then, let’s get into statistics about black-on-black crime. Let’s start there and see where that conversation goes.

Not “correct outcome” — “desired outcome.”

No matter how much surgery a male has they can never, ever remove that one eensy-weensy, teeny-tiny thing he has that no woman has… a Y chromosome. HE goes to the men’s locker room….or, as others have posted, create a room exclusively for the “gender-confused.” As for me, I will steer WAY clear of Planet Fitness.

Bobby Menendez is corrupt pond scum… but that’s not the reason this administration is going after him. Bobby bucked the emperor’s desire to ease the trade embargo against Cuba. He also apparently didn’t go along with Obama’s wish to directly negotiate with Iran over their nuclear program. If Bobby was a good little soldier they wouldn’t be touching this… but he just learned that if he’s not a good little boy and doesn’t play nice with the king he will be slapped…hard.

What a pity that the gutless wonders in Congress don’t have the backbone to do what needs to be done next…DEFUND THE FCC!

I’m with you, yasmina79. My stomach turned as I scrolled down and that picture unexpectedly popped up. It all comes flooding back…the fear…the anger…and the pride in all who worked so frantically trying to save lives that day…in New York, in DC, and on that plane over Pennsylvania. I feel it every time I drive over a hill near my home and still subconsciously expect to see those buildings.
“Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
    And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell…” – Wynn Varble & Darryl Worley
    …Never, ever forget.

I know… let’s “deplore” them. That’ll have ‘em shaking in their sandals.

Very true, but the odds of 2 vehicles trying that at the same time are pretty large, especially since they would have to get through a gated crossing there. The terrain in the town of Vahalla is quite hilly, however, and it has been extremely icy over the last 2 days. I wonder if the vehicles lost control sliding down an icy hill.

My Dad had the same issues with posting obituaries in the newspaper…said it was open invitation for nefarious beings who would know exactly when nobody was home.
