  Hey! Don’t knock Pintrest! It’s a useful site if used correctly. Unfortunately, there will always be idiots who misuse it. It’s a great organizational tool and I’ve gotten many great and practical ideas from it – you just have to weed through some of the useless crap.

  Wow. Really? You admit to not having seen the movie or read the books, so how can you claim with such absolute authority that it is “garbage?” It is actually a very well done movie and nicely written book series, one which has themes of honor, self-sacrifice, and resistance against oppression. Also, there is no obscene sex, no pervasive language, and the violence, though intense, is handled tactfully.

  I agree that most movies today have suffered in the creativity department; a lot of movies now are absolute crap. But I couldn’t let the ignorant blanket statement you made go in regards to a movie that finally breaks the status quo and is actually good.

  And sometimes, even in hard economic times like these, people just need to cut loose and forget about their troubles for a couple of hours.

  I agree. If this is not staged and was a genuine proposal, I don’t consider it “cold” of her to turn him down; why is she obligated to say yes? And if she did just to save him face, that’s only leading him on. I feel sorry for the guy, but at least now he knows.
