    Good story telling and good moral messages are appropriate for any age…. Thats like saying you can’t be a 9 year old that likes the movie Frozen. What if he wanted that lunch box/back pack?

    You’ll only like what I think you Should like, Don’t like it Tuff, Your opinions don’t matter I’m the parent, you can try that liking what you like stuff when you have your own home…….Sounds alittle Well Dictator-ish right? Did bringing that to school make him kinda target? Yea it did, But so could a million things. Kids are trying to express themselves. Parents are there to love there kids and help them grow to be better than themselves, some times the law needs to be laid down, but can’t you let the fan of what he wants? What if Bella Likes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Enroll her in Karate, Support her. Billy Likes My Little Pony, See if there is a horsemen ship classes near buy, One day Bella May be a cop and stop crime like the heros she new as a kid, And billy may become a vet that works with horses because of a show he watched…but maybe non of that will happen, they’ll grow out of it….But they will forever know that you care enuff to support them.

    What kind of Mom sends her Boy to school with a Adventure Time Lunch box? Would she have to some have some sort of agenda? If the kid likes the lunch box let him, he might get teased, thats to be expected. But Hit, Pushed down, Told he should go home and kill himself, That uncalled for. If a liberal did any of those things just because you had a Ted Cruz Sticker on your lunch box There would be charges filed. Teaseing will happen when ever two party’s don’t agree. But Bullying is wrong for ether side.

    The thing it you got your stereotypes all wrong there, You assume that just because some one like something that everyone(That could not give a **** about looking under the surface to see past the cover of the proverbial book.) thinks is “girly” that they are a bunch of basement dwelling moma’s boys eatting cheetos all day. That they don’t get out into the real world and get active. You know how that snario would look in the long run? Early atvantage, Meat heads with bats….Long run? The ones that know how to work together, even when they don’t agree. Embrace each others talents and build something better then they could alone, You want to see survival of the fittest? Go on ahead. My Vote if for the ones that use there heads…..As for Rainbow dash wealding, Realy? Don’t you know I never leave home with out my Party Cannon…..all .45 of it.

    I’m a straight conservative Christian male, with a full time job, small group of IRL friends, have a Dad that taught me how to be a man, and I still like My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Its aimed at the whole family, not just girls, Hell theres Dr. Who References, There was even a Big Labowski reference in it. The Cast is well thought out. Storys are well written (One was even done by one of the writers of South park.) Animation is well done. And the morals are not only good, they apply to everyone regardless of age.

    @Momflower
    What teaching your kid not to take things at face value? Teaching them to look at the content of a show and not the bright colorful surface? What other shows would you allow him to watch? Regular show? Simpsons?(Its animated Its got to be for kids right?) Adventure Time? I mean what if he finds Boomerang(Old CN shows on that channel) And watches Power Puff Girls? (Oh know female main leads, What to do what to do?)

    EXACTLY, we want people to stand up against evil. We want are fellow man to help are fellow man, not wait for someone else to step in.

    Better yet, they where talking about ideas, discussing, THINKING for themselves. It was not force down there throats. They where thinking and learning how to think…..Thats what I’m happy about.

    You know atleast it sounds like she is trying to at least make it sound plausible, not just going with the lefts old stand by of “Racism”.

  • September 16, 2013 at 10:33am

    You know, I have a well thought out counter point to you, but let me translate it in to a language you can understand…….BAAAAAAA!……Did I get the spelling right?

    “Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”
    That was from the first president.
    Government is like a fire, It helped keep us safe and warm, we feed it(Taxes) and it did what WE wanted it to do….But now that little fire is about to destroy everything we hold dear, and we have Talking Heads telling us that we don’t need water that the fire will not burn us, that we should feed it more…
    Another quote from G.W. The first.
    “Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples’ liberty’s teeth.”
