There is no daylight between a muslim and a terrorist. They are one and the same. Just read some of the koran. The koran says make no Christian or Jew your friend-and I agree I want no friendship with terrorists.

We need to pull their passports so they can be permanent middle east terrorists.

We care tremendously Glen, but or government does not listen to us-they are like you.
Obama is a fake, fraud and a liar but you like Obama, congress and Obama allies the media refuse to Challenge Obama’s legitimacy. He is no better than Ted Cruz when it comes to qualifications for president.

Here, FOX News declares Cruz ineligible. We should be over there killing those muslim bastards and breaking things.

    A time for truth Ted?

Well the truth is, Cruz can run for prime minister of Canada!

Cruz is not qualified under the natural born citizen clause in the US constitution to run for prez. The word “parents” is used multiple times in supreme court decisions bolstering judgments. Cruz’s mom was a citizen in Canada but Cruz was born before his dad became a US citizen.

Search chief justice Morrison Waite: .Exploring the common-law origins of citizenship, the court observed that “new citizens may be born or they may be created by naturalization” and that the Constitution “does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens.” Under the common law, according to the court, “it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, NOTE THE WORD “PARENTS” IS PLURAL FOLKS! -see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minor_v._Happersett

Commander, this same argument is going on over at FOX on the same story.

  • [4] March 14, 2015 at 1:23pm

Creg you are right. Harvard and congress have it wrong. Two citizen parents are required to create a natural born citizen Search for Supreme court justice Morrison Waite and Minor vs Happersett decision. Natural born citizen is the result of “common law” which is clearly uncommon at Harvard.

4 supreme court decisions use the natural born citizen clause by including the word “parents” plural when describing the natural born citizen and there is a lot more. Cruz’s dad was not a US citizen when Cruz was born. He received citizenship after he fought with Castro in turning Cuba into a communist nation.

The founders didn’t want a president with divided loyalties and in charge of the military as CIC. That military that he might be able to turn on its own citizens or create his own military. Sort of like what Obama is doing right now. Obama is the example for the reason for the natural born citizen clause.

You are correct, but Hatch wanted to change the “natural born citizen” part for candidates like “the Arnold”, Calif. GOV. A constitutional amendment would be necessary.

Have there been amendments to the constitution?, and the answer is yes. Thus when a change is made, there is a notation that explains it but none exists for the natural born citizen clause.

  • [2] March 13, 2015 at 2:55pm

This is from Supreme Court Justice Morrison Waite in bolstering his decision and please note the word “parents” is plural and “common law” is used to define natural born citizen..

The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.

I am not trying to cause trouble here but we are for this constitution or we are not. That is why Senator Orin Hatch wrote the “hatch amendment to the constitution” to get around the natural born citizen clause as have many others.

Be careful what you wish for. Cruz want’s to increase H1 visas up to 300,000 when we have over 92 million out of work here. He is the 4th largest spender in the senate and he is my senator. I like most of what he’s done but I am concerned because he is not qualified under the constitution and refuses to admit that and challenge Obama for the same violation of the constitution. When does a presidential candidate have to denounce his Canadian citizenship with close British ties to run for president in this country?

The words of John Jay—who later became the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court—were clear when he wrote to George Washington on July 25, 1787:“Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government, and to declare expressly that the Command in chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born citizen.”
Jay was aware that the draft of the Constitution required only that the president must be a “born Citizen.” He was concerned that a person born in the United States to non-citizen parents would be more likely to have “divided loyalties” than someone born in the United States to parents who were also U.S. citizens. In other words, a “natural born citizen” would be further removed ideologically and culturally from the country of his ancestors than a mere citizen. Two days after Washington received Jay’s letter, the text of the U.S. Constitution was changed. The requirement that the president be a “born Citizen” (born on U.S. soil) was made more strict. The president must instead be a “natural born Citizen” (born on U.S. soil to two U.S. citizen parents).
The words of David Ramsey, a South Carolina delegate to the Continental Congress and one of the first historians of the United States, were clear when he wrote that natural born citizens were children born in the United States of citizen parents, (parents-plural)

The best Saddam had to offer were blown out of the skies of Iraq like wingless ducks in a swimming pool. None are better than what the US, Israel, Canada, UK, and Australia can do. There has never been an F-15 shot down in combat including one that got 1/2 of its’ wing blown off.

Susie, you are exactly correct. 1 person, 1 liberal ideology has killed millions because of the loss of DDT. The Panama Canal was able to be constructed because of DDT that the US used where others failed. Like Roe V Wade, a liberal individual now responsible for these deaths. We really need some conservative leadership to overturn all this BS.

Cruz is not qualified-not a natural born citizen. 4. US vs Wong Kim Arc 1898 cited Minor V Happersett Chinese citizenship case
Quote, and notice it says PARENT’S meaning plural!! ” Under the common law, according to the court, “it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners”.

    Ted Cruz is not qualified under the constitution to be president or vice president. Supreme court decisions;
    1. The Venus/Cranch 1814 about the Vessel Venus and cargo ownership
    2. Shanks vs DuPont 1830 regarding inheritance
    3. Minor vs Happersett 1875 concerning voter rights

Why did Senator Hatch write this?????? “The Equal Opportunity to Govern Amendment, also known as the Hatch Amendment, is a United States constitutional amendment proposed in July 2003 by Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) to repeal the natural born citizen clause prohibiting citizens who were naturalized from holding the office of President or Vice President of the United States”.

First Congress 1790 – And the children of such persons so naturalized, dwelling within the United States, being under the age of twenty-one years at the time of such naturalization, shall also be considered as citizens of the United States. And the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens:

zorro is exactly right. I used to work or a trucking service company and we know that only 60% of every dollar if that goes back into roads. The rest is syphoned off for city projects.

Just another in a long line of reasons why I have little use for what some people call sports. Don’t watch gay football, basketball, baseball, or anything else like that be it college, minor or major. They are all an expensive embarrassment so I don’t watch them, I would rather mow the lawn.

Through the NRA, national, state and local gun organizations we should crowd fund a new banking organization for the firearm industry, This is really irritating because the banks are very happy to finance automobiles that kill and wound tens of thousands of more people every year than firearms.

Further, it is said that the US is the 4th deadliest country to live in due to guns but if we remove the stats from Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC and New Orleans the US becomes the 4th safest country to live in. What do these 4 cities have in common? They have the harshest anti gun laws in the country imposed by overwhelming liberal democrat policy and have had for dozens of years. So the good guys can’t have weapons who follow the law and the bad guys have weapons because they don’t care.
