  We don’t either in our Government! One of my former students last year was crucified when he went back after his mom died to attend to family – BECAUSE he was Christian. The dilemma we both have (theirs is far more violent!) is we are facing a raw power that has sought to rule, and its only real goal is to destroy all other powers besides itself. The irony the cycle of history shows those people failing and failing quickly but with more blood on their heads than the one they replace (Egypt muslim brotherhood). One wonders where both are going to lead – Egypt is going the way of more blood – now what about us? The critical item is – is the Church world-wide going to stand against these various blood tides, blend/bend into it or be a VOICE, ACT… Stand against evil? What are you doing?

  I do know from my real experience that many times they grab the Christians that live there (more than you might guess) and accuse them of spying. This president doesn’t give a moment of his time worrying about being in bed with them because it’s “springtime” to him. I had a student go home to Egypt for a sick parent this last Spring, and they (brotherhood) nailed him to a tree, because he had immigrated to America with his wife and child, so he must be a spy. Oh, yes he was a Christian too.
