  • I used to carry an M9 for work and loved it. Shot thousands of rounds through it and it felt like an extension of my arm, perfectly balanced and fit nicely in my hand. I own a 1911 and love it, but I still prefer the M9. I can put 16 rounds on target in seconds and swiftly reload due to the chunky mag that finds its home much easier then the 1911. In fact I am looking to buy one here shortly. I have seen the slide snap in two before, but this was on a twenty year old gun that had hundreds of thousands of rounds put through it if not more. Plus we had probably shot 6-700 rounds at the range that day alone. Now we carry the Sig P229 DAK which I cannot stand. Its an unbalanced POS with a terrible trigger in my opinion.

  • Its a non-violent purge of the military’s top brass. The end of The Godfather comes to mind: “Today I take care of all the family business.”

  • I love all these lavish parties these officers are attending. The grunts are getting their asses shot off and these guys are living the high life. Yet one more reason why the military needs to be reorganized. Why is it still based on the model of the British Army/Navy of 300 years ago? Officers and enlisted were needed back then because most of the enlisted personnel could not even write. Hell it even goes back to the feudal system with the nobility as the knights and the serfs as the soldiers. This system creates massive bureaucracies and inexperienced entitled leaders. What law enforcement agency in their right mind would promote someone straight out of the police academy to a chief of police position or even a shift sergeant position? Wouldn’t happen. Look at the support units: 2 E-4 clerks report to an E-5, who reports to an E-6, who reports to an E-7 who reports to a warrant officer, who reports to an O-3 etc etc. Seriously? The real question is why these generals have agreed to the BS rules of engagement that are getting the troops killed over there! Obviously they have more important things on their minds.

    In reply to Mr.Fitnah.

Exactly. Checkmate. Republic over. Thanks to all the McCain voters who sat this one out. Happy now?

  • I think a lot of people here are missing the point: Libertarianism will not help us here in the future. This was an all hands on deck situation here and we still lost. We have lost the argument and the country. The takers have realized they can vote themselves money. There will NEVER be another Republican President. People want MORE government not less. The only time “swing” voters turn libertarian is if they want legal pot and gay marriage. These people will never vote for a Republican anyway. The Republic died yesterday.

  • I knew it! Finally the truth is coming out about Romney’s past!

  • He’s just now going to look into doing something about this? The fact that he has agreed to the bs rules of engagement over there shows he is incompetent and does not care about victory or his men. FAIL!

  • It is legal for them to search the phone since the person is crossing an international border, deleting the video probably not.
