  • @INDIVIDUALISM:

“they have the right to protest” – Where on earth have you been living the past thirty years?! You have a right to protest, just as much as you have the right to own property – all at the whim of the tyrannical government.

You can’t just decide to have a parade, and then block traffic for two days without getting charged for any number of violations. You can’t carry guns anywhere you want to…and any other number of things you can’t do (try building on your “own” property without a permit, for instance).

I don’t know where you have lived that gave you the idea that “they have a right to protest” – but it clearly hasn’t been in the US for the past four or five decades. We haven’t experienced freedom in decades!

  • Hmm – the post I just tried to respond to was deleted…odd.

What they had said was something to the effect of, “Let’s hold off on elections until all of this violence has toned down.” (Which I’m sure was meant as sarcasm)…to which I was equally sarcastically going to state, “Yeah – especially since we can’t verify the validity of the polls since the rioters broke into the place housing the ballot, and we can’t rely on them now – besides there is evidence that there was an awful lot of voter fraud, so we better just throw the whole thing out and vote again at some undecided date in the future.”

  • Surely I’m not the only one who remembers the utter outrage (bordering on hatred) shown to Bush if he even so much as THOUGHT of reminding people of his great leadership on 9/11, and the days that followed…he wasn’t even allowed to mention any successes in the wars in conversation!

It was always, “How DARE you use something like this for personal gain…How DARE you try to claim credit for the work being done by our brave men and women…How DARE you try to make this about yourself!” Every news media outlet and every progressive (from both parties) was on the bandwagon.

Yet here we are with slObama, and the whole thing is backwards. It’s almost to the point of, “How dare you not give the president 100% credit!”

Worthless public servants. Worthless broadcast media! Worthless “voice of the people” in print news: Socialist, Marxist, American-hating entities – the lot of ‘em.

  • Blaze, the business Insider probably got these points for Reuters. I think there should be a hat tip. Of course this list left out quite a bit.

    Here’s the Reuters ORIGINAL story…

“Gosh darn it! I’ve RMA’d three of these already and this one is missing the rotary dial too! I’ll have to have one of my interns cable Ma Bell and get this fixed post haste!”

  • Finally, they admit ABSTINENCE WORKS 100% of the time!!!

  • Yeah, because we know that by NOT KILLING millions of babies, the tax base would GROW, as would innovation, jobs, medical cures, etc.

  • Caption contest winner! Was it YOU?

“Look! Look…just over the horizon, my dear. Yes, yes, it’s the end of the world!”

  • That’s an obnoxiously large Obama ad

…you’re using a MAC and have google as your default search toolbar?! Statistically, you probably pressed the DONATE button. ;^)

  • I’m guessing this is less to do with cell phone cameras and more to do with Photoshop.
