  • Bruce P. What a wonderful act of human kindness. Seize an opportunity to add a little somthing to the payroll check, which would be very helpful to have a little extra money in the piggy bank and your first thoughts are how that extra money can help those so in need. If you have that opportunity, and if you are financially sound and have your basic needs met and you choose to follow through I know you will be blown away with the appreciation shown by those you aided. May God Bless You and Keep You Safe……regardless of whether your pland comes to fruition, your heart is in the right place.
I’m sitting in FL pacing from room to room wanting to be there, to be closer to provide assistance to the S&R folks. I remember working Hurricane Katrina in NOLA and Charley in Punta Gorda, FL along with a dozen others. Please Pray for all our first responders for their physical safety and mental heath safety and for thos who have lost loved ones, have injured loved ones and for those that are missing.

  • The real question here is would the chocolate ammo be white chocolate, milk chocolate or dark chocolate. If a white chocolate bullet struck a milk or dark chocolate (color) person is that racist? Or if a milk or dark chocolate bullet struck a white!! Then if a milk chocolate shoots a dark chocolate….What happens if you enhance your chocolate with nuts, marshmallows or rice crispies? Would any federal laws or regulations apply to New Orleans since they really are ‘chocolate city or do they get a pass?’……Crazy uncle joe has created a huge kerfuffle.

  • On page 2…if you look real real close, you can almost see “that guy’s” tee-time for Saturday
On page 5…if you look real real close, you can almost see “Tea Party”=racists, 9/12 Project=racists
On page 11….if you look real real close, you can almost make out “Bush did it”
On page 14…if you look real real close, you can almost make out “What difference does it make?”

  • Greetings Kiba. I’m originally from Kanawha County (I live much further south now where there is a lot of sunshine and the climate is a great deal warmer) so I know you are exactly right in your assessment. He would have looked like ground round or swiss cheese. You have to love a State where most schools are closed in observance of the first week of buck season. =)
I couldn’t believe it today when I heard that in Mass. it is illegal to even own/carry MACE!!! Well, I shouldn’t have been so shocked I suppose~it is liberal land. They would never comprehend that it was common practice in WV to have your hunting rifle in a rack in your vehicle while you were at school so you could go straight from school to hit the woods for a couple of hours before dusk. The 2nd Amendment is not only a Constitutional Right but a huge part of my culture. In progressive tree-hugger America, everyone is encouraged to embrace their culture and diversity~mine just happens to be embracing my 2nd Amendment Rights.

  • Zip, Zero, Nada, Zilch, Big Fat Goose Egg, ummm None. =) I know your question was rhetorical but I couldn’t help myselt. Definitely no ride on AF1, if anything, it would be a remark originating from the Out House that would most certainly include “I don’t have the details of these situations, but I’m sure they must have acted stupidly.”

But, on a serious note, I wouldn’t mind shaking their hand and buying them both an adult beverage of their choice for jobs very well done. May God continue to Bless these fine folks and keep them safe and well.

*LPHP~Thanks for the link to another really feel good story with a very happy ending. After a really stressful and cr@ppy day at work the combination of these terrific outcomes from responsible citizens, who respect and value our 2A, did bring a much needed, and appreciated, smile this evening.

  • Amen to that LHWS. Lord, we are struggling down here and I pray to You our Heavenly Father that You provide us the wisdom, strength, direction and courage to rescue our great Nation from the evil-doers, both domestic and international, and reclaim Her in the name of all that is good, holy, just and righteous.

  • I agree CATB. If Glenn, et al, set up a fund through Mercury One, or one of their trusted entities, I most definitely will donate. I would also suggest that any donations designated to this cause in excess of the $1000 for the building permit be awarded to this brave young Marine to assist him in getting a great start in the civilian world. A percentage going to the Wounded Warrior Fund wouldn’t be a bad thing either. May God Bless our Military and Happy Easter.

  • Hmmmm….stabbed multiple times with a Swiss Arny knife and in critical conditition. Perhaps “Big Sis” needs to rethink her strategy of letting small knives onto aircraft. One never knows when a woman, or a man, may decide “that’s it”, he/she is a drunk, we argue, we beat each other, so NOW I’m going to stab him/her so many times~all while flying at 42,000 feet.” Better yet, a universal background check before anyone can own, possess, purchase, hold, or commit any act of violance. [sarc off]

  • If they keep looking through the $natch trap….they just may find Jimmy Hoffa……..

  • Bullitt~ I completely agree. I was trained using the Modified Weaver Stance 26 years ago at my first LEO academy. It’s simply gross muscle memory, comfortable and very effective. Additionally, in my normal day-to-day stance, it allows me to keep the “strong side” shifted away from any potential threat making it a very easy natural transition to draw and come up on target. The bottom line, the “proper stance” is what is natural, comfortable and effective for the individual shooter. (TBL)
