Showdown: Sen. Harry Reid Looks to Force Vote on Gun Bill Debate Thursday Amid GOP Filibuster Threats
April 10, 2013 at 3:48pm
protecting the kids … ok, then let’s ban anything that can be used to harm children … this is about disarming americans plain and simple.
for those of you that deny this fact, you are delusional. if protecting the children is what this is about, then why not ban children in automobiles, pools, having a dog, using stairs, climbing trees, etc. i see far more deaths caused by these everyday things than guns.
ridiculous you say? over reacting you say? no, i believe if it’s REALLY about protecting kids, guns are the least thing they need to be protected against.
parents have lost more children defending our constitution than those lost because of the constitution …
if you are willing to lose any rights, i suggest moving to where you don’t need to worry about having any to lose.

‘Just Absurd’: VA Cops Were Refused Restaurant Service Because of Their Guns
March 28, 2013 at 12:20pm
gun free zone – what an absurd thought. for all you morons that truly think that criminals would obey such an idiotic law, you are sheep and deserve what happens to you from the wolves.
if you truly believe that gun free zones will protect you, then why don’t you petition our politicians and police to designate your entire city as a “criminal free zone” and see how that works out for you.

is that really what you’re going to go with? i guess a vacuum cleaner could also work against an intruder if hurled fast enough or the cord somehow wraps around the neck and strangles the person …
o’ tony is right – no need for a gun. a bed sheet could be the perfect defense weapon. versatile and easy to clean without ever worrying about accidental discharge, well, maybe that may still happen. but then again, you would need to store it in a locked safe out of reach thus, leaving the mattress bare …
looks like the government needs to study this – $200B outta do it.
Sen. Chuck Schumer Says the NRA Is an Extreme ‘Fringe Group’
January 20, 2013 at 11:44am
i believe he and his colleagues all think that the nra are all republican. the nra are a group of like-minded americans who believe in the 2nd amendment – something these elitist politicians have sworn to uphold … and don’t – so, who are really the “fringe” chuck?
‘In Gay We Trust’: Women Go Topless in Front of the Pope in Gay Rights Protest
January 13, 2013 at 2:11pm
i’ve never seen, atleast publicized, these protesters display this type of asinine behavior with islam, judaism or buddhism, etc – it’s always christianity … i do believe those other religions don’t favor homosexuality either. be consistent people, otherwise it’s merely a circus show.

January 2, 2013 at 6:14pm
it sure sounds like freedom of the press is something that our founders thought was important … but i wonder if they had the forethought of how the press would use that right against their other rights … i’ll bet they did and still thought it necessary – just like the rest of those pesky amendments …
