There is no argument. Evolution is a fact beyond any doubt. We are at liberty to believe in any god as we so wish. Let us not forget before Abraham such a god was not known.

Racism is about the power of stereotyping and self-perpetuation of cultural identities. We are only able to view other cultures through lens of our own experience. I know many a white guy who fear the situation of being alone amongst only black people. America has a truly shameful recent history of racism that has left much resentment. This history will do go away until black people have an equitable stake within society. Things have changed dramatically since the days of the KKK – but they still have a long way to go.

I bet Jesus would have been twice the bloke if he had packed revolver shot the poor and homosexuals.

Funny blokes you lot. I suppose I must too be a commie gay if I think gun control is a good idea? Have you lot ever thought that if you had a welfare state there might be a chance of you getting an education?

I see that there is no IQ required to gain a gun license then. Could be part of the problem I reckon.

This forum is pointless and only exists for knucklehead dumbswoldws unable to accept and debate the facts. It is the epitomy of anti-intellectualism Every time I post an intelligent and challenging point it is removed from the forum. Now wonder Americans are so ignorant and beleive that men walked with dinosaurs whilst many have the stupidity to deny irefutable fact of evolution.

Lets be honest most of them kids on the video don’t look starving. The USA has the fatest kids in the world : FACT. Having visited the USA numerous times I am shocked that you don’t think the exponential growth of obesity amongst children is not an issue

Come on Guys give the man a break we have all had or gay fantasies in our time. We just need to be brave enough to come out and stop living the lie.

  • September 25, 2012 at 5:14pm

Typical of Ms Obama to challenget the liberal rights of Americans to fullfill there destiny to be the fatest nation on the Earth.

  • September 25, 2012 at 4:01pm

How dare Ms Obama challenge the proud tradition of the American people to be the fatest in the world.

I think that the USA populace need to understand the context of the economic problems around the world. Most western nations would trade their economic situation for that of the USA at this time.
The USA has at least has had some growth, albiet on the back of much stimulus.
There need to be a reality check and understand that it is 30 years of neo-liberalism that has brought the whole of the capitalist world to a very perilous place with little or no light at the end of the tunnel.

The blind dissonance of the ideological laizez faire disciples is barmy. The only nations that are making any hay are ones driven by state planning and funded by soveriegn wealth funds. Have you not forgotten it was deregulation that resulted in the national debts. Futheremore there sems to be lack of any intelligent economic discourse on this website whereby the punters are able to grasp that the greatest barrieer to economic stability and growth is the pile of private debt. This being acrued due to declining wealth of the blue collar sector and an economy that has become hooked on public spending that is funded by credit.

As an Englishman watching your election process I am dumbfounded by incompetence of the Republican candidates. Romney’s regular faux pas are an embarassment beyond belief. Ryan ideological motivation hinders his understanding of basic economics. What is more most Republicans don’t seem to like them and only vote for them because they are not Obama.

Surely Obama can only lose this election.

What the hell are you talking about-clinging-to-my-guns-and-religion. Who cares who does what to who as long they are willing. Why do you think that your bigoted religous beliefs trump the freedom of individuals? If we were all honest enough we might freely admit that homosexual desires exist in us all to some greater or lesser extent. Having the free will to enjoy those pleasures has nohting to with God.

You Yanks are only happy to pay taxes for hypocritical military murderous campaigns in the name of GOD. Your healthcare in the USA is the most expesive in the world and the last time I looked you were rated 24th by the World Health Organisation- dumb or what?. WAKE UP AND SHOW SOME CARE FOR THE POOR- or do you only respect them when they are in body bags?

  • July 1, 2012 at 2:35pm

Was Jesus some sort of bigotted bully who spent his time castigating homosexuals ? I don’t know my bible too well but I am pretty sure you can find some pretty nasty and ignorant contradictory crap from the old testament. You never hear the Republicans talking about “the eye of the needle” stuff.

Is ignorance and bigotry the chief export of the USA? You lot make the Taliban look liberal and educated.Just leave the lady alone she is doing no harm to any of you lot. Why the hell are you so concerned and judgemental about other peoples lives that do not affect you. Maybe a bit of guilty latent homosexual desire bubbling away beneath that God-fearing moral rectitude?

I must congratulate the widespread ignorance on this matter.
The notion that his bloke has any credibility within the general polpulace in europe is ridiculous. ^The majority think he is a racist bigot who is not welcomed in their county. We have bit of history around these sorts of chaps. The sort that would generally welcomed 70 years ago in the Europe. Although he might strike a chord with USA. But who can learn about racial harmony or social justice from a county that is rife with murder and crime whilst manages to jail 1% of the population? The worst in the world I think. Open your eyes and learn America.

Beck would be deemed a laughing stock in the UK. And many of us are laughing at you.

We in Europe have embarked on a unilateral austerity program. We are currently in death spiral. Have we learn’t nothing about economics following the Great Deppresion?
The reason that we are sinking is because the free- marketeers have exported all the jobs and stuffed the profits in their back pockets. Hey surprise suprise – because working wages have at best remained stagnant and unemployment has increased the only way to keep the economy going is to lend money to people who can barely afford to pay. Meanwhile the lenders stuff the profits of lending in their back pockets. Hence the massive growth of the finance industry- whilst manufacturing goes down the pan.
When it all goes wrong the anti-welfare billionaiiares demand corporate bailouts that need to be payed for by working people. These working people are so indoctrinated that they practice a willed subordination to the mega-wealthy who denigrate their existence.Meanwhile this exacrable practise is accelerating and some people in the richest country in the world live in tents. Furtheremore many of those most at the centre of this discrace hypocritically wear the badge of religion. As if Jesus was mega-rich and didn’t protect the poor and humble.
The only true way to create a credible economic plan is to accept that there will be no demand in the economy unless wealth is more evenly shared. Whether by progressive taxation or better wage structure (much better I think if we all payed taxes) this is the only way.

What about the sort of experimental homosexuality acts that most of us commit in adolescents?
Just because we fool around doesn’t mean that we are not Christians does it? You can be too rigid about his i believe.
