  I don’t think it is as easy as all of this. A born again Christian WILL turn from evil ways and the bible makes clear sex with same sex IS evil, man or woman. I would think the right thing is to get yourself prayed over. IF God doesn’t heal you from these desires, then it is probably his “thorn in the flesh”. There ARE ways to live outside of expressing yourself sexually with another, especially if it is sin. I think people are born with these desires, do NOT CHOOSE to be gay, but after becoming aware of it often do not have the spiritual guidance to go down the best path for them. The bible clearly abhors sexual sin, as well as many other sins, and it is our duty to live within God’s will as best we can from day to day. Someone is NOT a pervert for having these feelings, what becomes perversion is acting on them. Also, condoning someone acting on gay feelings should not be accepted as OK in our society. That is, IF we use God and the bible as our moral compass, which I choose to do. Just because someone is born without any aberrant sexual desires does not mean another is free from them. We should be most aware and sympathetic to our brothers and sisters who are and help them as led to do. Again, that does NOT include condoning sin. Judging is not judging if your comment is based on God’s word; what is judging is deciding for yourself what part of the bible is sin and which is not and quoting your version to “prove” your point.

  There is something about Obama that just does NOT ring true, especially in touting his “Christian faith”. After all, he was the one who said “we are no longer a Christian nation”. He vows to never be at war with Islam; sends muslim brotherhood money on OUR dime, sat under Jeremiah Wright, a pastor who hates America and preaches anti-American rhetoric. He supports late term abortion (but to God, let it be known, there is NO difference in early, middle and late term abortions), he decides to support gay marriage when he realizes he wants that voting bloc. I am highly offended to have this man align himself with my Christianity as he does not represent it well. He’s an opportunist who is now using faith, God and the Bible to help get votes. Does he not do anything that doesn’t represent a lie?? I encourage prayer, meaningful prayer, for our country’s future. I pray for the most honest politicians to be elected into office in 2012 and I pray for Americans to continue to wake up and support the truly best politicians for the job. May our Loving God and saviour have mercy on this great land and may He have mercy on our individual souls and may we be restored to the greatest land on earth. May we pray more regularly, live better and get involved in doing what we need to do in our communities to keep America on a path of restored patriotism and devotion so many have died for. God help us NOW and in the days to come.

  Soooooo correct. Literally, this mess as well as several other news items makes me sick to my stomach. I guess the good people in America (including myself) have done nothing and remained silent for too long. The tea party should have come along 30 years ago and still they are too quiet. What can we do to spark things up, besides donating? When I was a kid, I remember my mother telling me how the communists were then bragging about how they could take the U.S. over without firing a shot. And look at them; I am ashamed and frustrated that we have let the country get in this shape. Unfortunately, there are too many Americans that want BO elected to the point that if he said publicly he was a communist, they would still support him. I just never thought this would happen. And now that it has, it might be too late. Perhaps old fashioned, perhaps too far to the right for a lot of people, but I think our only hope is to reach out to God and ask him to have mercy on our souls and heal our land. Proud to be an American, proud to be a born again Christian, ashamed to say I have not done my part. God forgive me.

  My God in heaven. Folks, we really do need to stop and think about WHERE we are really at. The handwriting is on the wall. Many of us see it, too many do not. The only thing I can figure out is that the indoctrination of marxism, communism, socialism has SO proliferated the schools and taught our young that these very forms of government are “not that bad”, “actually good” and most of all “electing someone from those leanings is good for our country”. The teaching of freedom and the value of freedom is not being taught and RELISHED as it once was. I fear many really GOOD people who don’t want America to really change will nevertheless vote for BO for the sake of party line loyalty or for sake of BO being black by the blacks. And THEY don’t even realize their vote is racist to the core. I’m sick for our country, I fear the outcome. I’m not even sure Romney can fix our current state. What I do know is that betting on him is far more reasonable than putting BO back in. IF EVER we were at a crossroads where the life and death of this country is at stake, it is now. God have mercy on our souls and please deliver us from the current regime.

  Why is it BO is still even in the race? Now Hillary chuckling about “whatever” during discussion of emails to WH re: this tragedy. Does somebody know…………is the reason he is still even in the race because of the MSM and their sheer ability to cover up for him? My God, if this was Republicans–Bush, D. Rumsfield and team…….I shudder to think. Thank God most administrations are not even capable of lying to this extent. What a pathetic excuse for elected officials we have right in front of us. Is there No shame, ever, on their parts???????? Transparent administration. This is funny, really, if it wasn’t soooooooooooooooooo serious.

  Normally I get mad when people tell me they do not believe in God. But after watching these videos and reading on these athiest gatherings, honestly my heart just feels so heavy. Where do you begin, what can you say? The human side of me says “just wait, someday you’ll see how wrong you are.” Then I picture Hell as the Bible describes it and all I feel is oh so much pity. I would not have anyone go to Hell. How I pray these people will see the light and love of our saviour, Jesus Christ, before it is too late. The best proof for God and the Bible is seeing changed lives as a result of accepting Christ. I just cannot give enough gratitude to God for giving me the Mom I had who pointed me in the right direction. I was so blessed. There is a book out entitled something like, “It takes more faith to be an athiest…..”
