  LOL,gun laws are crazy.where i live i can legally own any muzzleloading rifle or pistol,i can also own any firearm that was produced before december of 1898,and i can also own any firearm that is made in the state that i live in as long as it doesnt move interstate.as for ammo as long as i make my own,then it would be ok as long as it dosnt move interstate.you should really investigate federal gun laws as there is no gun law federally as long as there is no interstate violation,federally a muzzleloader and anything produced before 1898 is not a firearm.This is why gun las are so stupid.

  Not a person here has praised this convict…all of you idiots think convicted felons shouldnt have guns,
  but in truth the constitution says shall not be infringed……This guy proves that some convicted felons are honest…YOU HAVE TO READ THE ENTIRE BOOK BEFORE YOU CAN JUDGE THE COVER…
  I am a convicted felon and i was bad,did 10 years in prison,its been 17 years,a wife two daughters,my own company,pay taxes,have employees,coach youth soccer,and guess what im no different than you..The cop was an ass,but people make mistakes deal with it and move on.couple days off with no pay.The past is the past.Jesus forgave me and this other felon and the cop,why cant you..
  Its funny to me how everyone is upset as they may loose there 2nd amendment right,but no one cares that an EX felons constitutional rights are violated everyday.You cant have your cake and eat it too.
  question: If you are a police officer would you arrest an EX felon who has a firearm if they are a productive member of soceity, knowing that it is a violation of the US constitution and that all firearm laws are a direct violation of this amendment?

  If you are a freeman than you can have a firearm,period..
  The second amendment says nothing else,period
  It was not put there for hunting,period
  It was not put there for skeet shooting,period

  (1) Police cannot protect, and are not legally liable for failing to protect, individual citizens, as evidenced by the following:
  (A) The courts have consistently ruled that the police do not have an obligation to protect individuals, only the public in general. For example, in Warren v. District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department, 444 A.2d 1 (D.C. App. 1981), the court stated: `[C]ourts have without exception concluded that when a municipality or other governmental entity undertakes to furnish police services, it assumes a duty only to the public at large and not to individual members of the community.’.
  (B) Former Florida Attorney General Jim Smith told Florida legislators that police responded to only 200,000 of 700,000 calls for help to Dade County authorities.
  (C) The United States Department of Justice found that, in 1989, there were 168,881 crimes of violence for which police had not responded within 1 hour.
  (2) Citizens frequently must use firearms to defend themselves, as evidenced by the following:
  (A) Every year, more than 2,400,000 people in the United States use a gun to defend themselves against criminals–or more than 6,500 people a day. This means that, each year, firearms are used 60 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives.
