National Review editor sides with Cal Thomas on Carson’s Prayer Breakfast speech
February 14, 2013 at 1:38pm
Maybe the reason our country is so screwed up is because we have been told we should never discuss politic or religion. Then Cal and Rich come along and say that at a religious gathering you should not talk about politics. So when and where are we supposed to discuss religion and politics? I really would like to here your thought and not just that it is not polite. Impolite happens every minute of every day so get over it. I am not saying be impolite but we have to learn to discuss touchy issues, religion and politics, so differences can be resolved.
I cannot not discuss one without bringing up the other. My life is based on my religious beliefs, my values, so everything in my life is filtered through a spiritual prism.
Pastor’s ‘I Give God 10%’ Receipt Raises Question: Are Christians Bad Tippers? Findings May Surprise You
February 14, 2013 at 1:27pm
I am a Christian, a tither and a tipper. I do not give an automatic 18% unless I am part of a large group. I get paid for the job I do so I tip according to the service I receive. If a waiter/waitress serves me well and is pleasant doing it the the tip could be as high as 50-60%. However, if they are rude and ignore me they may get nothing. I often send a comment to the company when I receive exceptional service or very bad service.
‘No. More. Taxes!’: Guess Which CNBC Host Went on an Anti-Tax Rant? (It’s Not Who You Think)
January 5, 2013 at 3:45pm
Every time I hear people talk about cutting government spending they always talk about Medicare. I agree changes need to be made to SS & Medicare but what about welfare, reducing the size of government and I am sure you have suggestions to add to these. It is time that we all take our medicine and get this ballooning government under control.
WSJ’s Peggy Noonan not so into Ryan, Rubio right now
December 16, 2012 at 4:59pm
Well it looks like there is still one person out there who still cares what Peggy Noonan has to say. He he/she does not seem to care much though.
Liberals probably like to hear her opinion so they can use what she says against conservatives.
I wonder if she is the speech writer for Reagan who kept taking out the line “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”? Thankfully President Reagan kept putting it back in the speech.

This is the Congressman who is worried that Guam will tip over if we put to many troops on the island. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs23CjIWMgA. We has no idea what up is much less down. That is what makes him so dangerous

I total disrespect what they did but is free speech or is it free speech? I would not put someone in their care but I also give them the right to their right to free speech. If it creates problems for their employers then their employers must do what they need to do.
Is The Tea Party Too Full of ‘Rage’? Peggy Noonan Thinks So

Rock Band Combats Liberal Attacks on the National Anthem With This Patriotic ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ Video & Challenge
November 11, 2012 at 3:48pm
I love and respect our National Anthem and the story behind it.
I am 62 years old and the Madison Rising rendition is my favorite. Have listened to it 50-100 times and love it when they go rock at “and the rockets red glare…” I still remember Jose Feliciano’s rendition at the 1968 World Series. Some people say any variation from the original is disrespectful. I think any rendition sung with respect and from the heart is fine. If you have watched the video you know Madison Rising is not being disrespectful but proclaiming a strong belief in the United States of America.
I have never paid $10, $6.99 plus $2.99 s&h, for a single song but I did it gladly for this one.
