  I have to show ID to exercise my Second Amendment Rights; I have to show ID to exercise some of my First Amendment Rights, so why shouldn’t ID be required to vote, even though there is no specific right to vote in the Constitution, only what reasons cannot be used to deny voting.

  She needs one of those RFID blocking ID holders so she can’t be tracked. Otherwise, she can put the card in the microwave for about 10 seconds.

  I’m personally against using RFID for any kind of simple tracking, like what Northside ISD is trying to do. RFID is fine for access control (opening doors/gates to those authorized), or for inventory control, like self-checkout at the Library.

  To all of the people that are going to whine and cry about the “poor animals”: How would you like to work for 8 to 30 seconds a week, get free transportation, free food, and free medical? That’s the life of a rodeo animal. It’s almost better than being on Welfare.

  Yes, animals are going to get injured or killed, but that happens every day out in the feedlots and on the range. They are just animals. Cattle and horses aren’t people. Get over it.

  It is so incredible, the amount of cognitive dissonance inside the heads of the Occupy types. Everything is a conspiracy to them and against them, even if the conspiracy is *for* them, AND the betterment of society. The Occupiers don’t want any form of government besides a Kleptocracy, and they want to be the Kleptocrats. At least with Anarchy, there’s a chance for some sort of civilization to emerge.

  There’s nothing new about the NARP discounts. They’ve been on the Amtrak website booking system for years. I was using them, even though I wasn’t a NARP member every time that I’d have to take a train trip any where.

  There’s not much difference between using the AAA or AARP discounts, and the NARP discount. All of the allowed discounts without a special code are 10%.
