  These are rcoverable/reusable drone type aircraft used by the military to simulate attacking aircraft and missile. Previous models were based on the TALOS missle. I can honestly say though, after 20 years in the Navy as a Fire Controlman (FC) I’ve never seen one of these all in one piece. They are not SUPPOSED to hit them, but I have splashed more than one of these with both SM2 missiles and CIWS.

  @destrecht You can always hire on the extra people as contractors. at that point, not an employee. You are paying for services at that point, and the contractor is responsible for thier own coverage.

  So the way this reads is one of two ways:
  1. Companies will not be required to DIRECTLY provide contraceptive insurance. You will pay the same price for coverage, but the difference amount (which you will pay) will be given to a third party to administer the coverage.

  or

  2. The insurance comapny will pay for it out of pocket in order to meet the mandate.

  This only allows those entities identified by the IRS as religious institutions to be allowed the “exemption”. Private companies that are filing suit are not covered by the exemtion. All this is desgined to do is reduce the amount of lawsuits to the limited funds of the private companies so that the church’s massive economical power and influence cannot be used for the benefit of the individual companies. This is nothing more than an end around folks. Its a garbage legal manuvre.

  How is this even a story? I retired after 20 years in the navy last year, this program has been going on since before I joined in 91. They use sealions too. It was actually a non leathal counter insurgency initiative. A cone was fitted on the animal in question, and when they found an unauthorized swimmer in the domain area, the swimmer was jabbed with the cone. A barbed needle was imebbed in the swimmer and as the dolphin pulled away, it relased a CO2 inflated bout which hauled the swimmer to the surface. Think of it like reverse fishing.

  Are you kidding me? “What we started together”? The black population in this country has suffered at the hands of this man. Black youth unemployment is near 50%, predominamtly black neighborhoods are being bulldozed to the ground in inner cities, 75% of all black children are born out side of a marriage, and he keeps heaping on the regulations that prvent these people from breaking the cycle of poverty because if they do get a job, they lose benefits. The head start program is a joke. All it is is state sponsored daycare that throws more money at the teachers unions. At some point, people are going to go one of two ways. Socialism or Freedom. College tuition has risen 25% since he entered office, actual unemployment is at near depression levels, the price of goods and services are rising, and he he touts “What we started”?? If he’s just getting started, I fear what another four years would be like since all of the really horendous stuff always comes in a second term.
