  • The entire administration needs to go. BHO gets impeached and where does that lead the country? Biden!!! He’s just as guilty and will sign pardons for all.

  • McCain is a warrior no more. He is definitely suffering from No-T…you would think with Congress’ medical plan he would be getting daily shots.

  • I believe about two years ago another Eagle Scout, hoping to get an appointment to one of the military academies, got similar treatment from a progressive, anti-military teacher. Asked if he had any of his camping gear in his vehicle, he answered YES. Asked if he had a knife, he answered YES. He then found himself expelled for having a weapon on school grounds. SAD

  • But will these movies play in China…do we care?

  • I am a CT resident and CC permit holder for almost 15 years. I could carry in the open but CT has the opinion we would prefer you carry concealed so as not to alarm the public. I’m beginning to think there should be OPEN CARRY days written into all state firearms legislation.

  • I am a CT resident and I became a CC permit holder about 14 years ago. The requirements at that time was 8 hour training, 3 character references from non-family, submit application to local C.O.P. or sheriff for fingerprints and photo for forwarding to FBI. After approved by local COP you go to State Troopers for state permit. The need for character references has been cancelled. The one thing I remember quite clearly is the state gives the local COP 30 days to tell you yes/no on your permit. My COP was notorious for taking a little over 3 weeks to notify applicants their permit was approved. In surrounding towns you could see an approval in 3-7 days. My COP’s attitude was he had better things to do than sign CC permits. He has since retired and his LT was promoted. His approvals are in the 10-14 day range. I mention this because legislatures need to be clear in the permitting process. Approval at the local level looks great on paper until self appointed demi-gods make their on rules because of their beliefs or political ideals.

  • I have been a CT resident for 39 years, CC permit holder and a Grandfather of six. I no longer consider myself a CT sheepdog for the public at large. Since I cannot be as well armed as the criminals, reasoning behind the LEOs need for LCMs and automatic firearms, I will only defend like minded family and friends. Fortunately for me I have Southern roots and property there. My banned firearms and deadly 12 round magazines will be relocated this Summer. I plan on leaving as well. Sure, I could file for a “Certificate of Possession” (REGISTER) for each item but I consider that un-Constitutional at the state and federal level. In local news…I’ve heard the applications for firearms permits in the Newtown area is up 30% in 1Q of 2013.

  • Another UK stat to keep in mind, Home Invasions/burglaries, WHEN THE OCCUPANTS ARE HOME, is much higher in the UK.

  • DHS has ordered over 7000 personal defense weapons (full auto ARs). Why didn’t they order shotguns and a half-billion shells?

  • I would like an explanation why certain branches of the gov’t needs an armed contingent and full battle-rattle. The Social Security Administration and the Agriculture Department come to mind but I’m sure there are others. If we lived in a world where SSA was sending spec-ops units out to assisted living facilities in a crisis or AG sending out teams to protect farming communities. One reason could just be a way to add to head count at each agency. More heads, bigger budgets and even bigger paychecks for those at the top. Maybe someday one agency will literally go to war with another agency for territory disputes.
