A Constitutional convention is a terrible idea. Our Constitution is a masterpiece crafted by a group of the smartest, most gifted actual public servants the world has ever seen. Turning it over to the present gang of asshats of both parties in Washington is a loser idea of galactic proportion. Not to mention, we’d “have to pass it to see what’s in it”…c’mon, folks, wake up and buy a clue… If we just observed and obeyed our current, nearly perfectly serviceable Constitution we’d be just fine. “Marriage”, among many other things currently being fooled with by the government, (what we ingest, licenses and permits that create specifically forbidden “privileged classes”, etc.) are not mentioned in either the US or the state constitutions, therefor are left to we the people. Period. And, per the SCOTUS Marbury decision, anything, even in the form of “law” that is contrary to the Constitution is void at inception, and “creates no duty to obey”. Case closed. Anyone still wonder why Civics 101 disappeared from public school? I really miss America…

“MyronJ.Poltroonian” Screen name of the month, at least. ROFLMFAO! To paraphrase your contribution,”Old Americans never die, we just take forever to wake up.” You go, Donald…

    Works for me…

Yep. This alone makes him worth electing. And no, I don’t agree with all his positions, but honest disagreement beats BS every day of the week, and twice on Sunday. Besides, at least the USA would show a profit with him in charge. We the stockholders deserve no less from our “public servants”, to use the term loosely…

Yep. Further, EVERYONE who gets any money from the government should be drug tested…teachers, cops, judges, bureaucrats, senators, dogcatchers, military, retirees, students w/ loans, all of them. As long as something is illegal, there is no way to justify any violators getting enabled with taxpayer money. Period. That said, the whole drug thing is really stupid. Nothing in either the US Constitution or the state constitutions says one word about what anyone may ingest, therefor it is an individual decision. Same with marriage- none of the government’s affair. And no, I am not holding my breath waiting for this to happen…

Or maybe their pickup window quit working on their way home from the range, can’t be rolled up, and they don’t want to leave a weapon where someone can get hold of it…Whatever, our Constitution reaffirms that our pre-existing, God given right to bear arms “…shall not be infringed.” That said, having rights carries the obligation to exercise them responsibly. Personally, I choose not to advertise as a rule, if only so I don’t give some asshat an even break… Also, I get a good feeling when I see someone walk into my credit union packing while attending to their business. Your mileage may vary…

Likely you won’t have any takers, as 15 minutes will already be taken as soon as your pool opens. As in real life, Follow the Money…better yet, try following the Constitution- as in actual gold/silver money (no, Sparky, Fed Reserve Notes are NOT money), no “privileged classes” (any and all license or permit holders), no infringement of our rights (All “laws” infringe or have no effect, as they create no additional liberties or options that didn’t already exist prior to their creation, therefor having no effect, or more commonly diminishing existing liberties) assuming powers not mentioned and thereby reserved to the people, and so forth ad nauseum. Yeah, I know, it’s all public schools’ fault; “Dancing With the Stars” has nothing whatsoever to do with it…geeez… I really miss my country…

Yep. Time to stop bringing BS to gunfights, and to deal in actual results. Walker comes as close as we have seen in a very long time. More power to him and his ilk…

“…this guy is an empty suit who tells you wonderful things and makes symbolic gestures so you won’t realize he cannot formulate, let along execute solid public policy.” Tell that to the SEIU and the other commie union slugs in Wisconsin. Going forward, hide and watch…

“The government that would take 10% would be exceedingly oppressive.”-Benjamin Franklin
10% is enough for God. Government deserves considerably less…

Aside from being asleep, the seller did nothing wrong. Private sales are legal in WA state. As for selling it to a gun shop, he would have gotten about half- they need to buy low in order to make a profit on the deal. Personally, I would likely sell it at a local gun show.

  • [3] October 23, 2014 at 10:17pm

Wrong. Private sales are legal in WA state.

  • [2] October 23, 2014 at 10:14pm

Nope. private sales are legal in WA state. A bill of sale is not even required, but still a good idea. Sadly, stupid is also not illegal…

Um, sell it to your friend and they can do whatever they like after that…

  • [2] October 23, 2014 at 10:06pm

Gun shows in states where private sales are legal are a good place to conduct your transaction safely. Here in Utah, and in Washington state, attendees can bring in guns to sell or can buy guns from other private parties no problem, in the presence of excellent security, and likely availability of whatever ammo the new owner desires…

  • [3] October 23, 2014 at 10:00pm

Private sales are legal in Washington state. Most of the anti-gun lefty dumbarses are in the cities of Seattle, Olympia, Vancouver, and Spokane. In between, there are still a lot of actual Americans who own, enjoy, and buy and sell guns privately. That said, situational awareness and preparedness belong in the category of standard practices, unless you have masochistic tendencies…

And this mental giant was able to figure it out and become fed up after a mere 20 years? WOW! Just in time for retirement, I bet… The whole Mordor on the Potomac crowd is over and doesn’t know it… Thank God! Personally, I’m on to “Next”…

“The only thing that will allow change to happen is the 2016 election.”
Um, yeah, right. We’re sure that’s gonna work. The only way our “public servants” are going to do anything for we the people is if we start picking them from the parking lot at the local grocery store, or church maybe… couldn’t be any worse…Thanks, but I’ll just keep stackin’…

“The government that would take 10% would be exceedingly oppressive.” -Benjamin Franklin.
Heck, even God himself is happy with 10%.
What this country needs is a good 5 cent revolution… enough already…
