the founding fathers did not allow a income tax it was tried 3 times and ruled unconstitutional
until wilson got the amendment in 1913 through by lying stating that it would be 1% of income over 500k it was raised many times
We live in a connected world, and the rest of the western world is striving to lower their taxes, to attract investment. The average tax rate in the western world is 20%. That is why a lot corporations, and high nett worth individuals are fleeing America in droves. In the corporate world, this is called inversion. Now these commie economists want to speed up the process? Insanity, sheer insanity! Progressiveness really is a mental disorder!

Aside from being asleep, the seller did nothing wrong. Private sales are legal in WA state. As for selling it to a gun shop, he would have gotten about half- they need to buy low in order to make a profit on the deal. Personally, I would likely sell it at a local gun show.

Wrong. Private sales are legal in WA state.

Nope. private sales are legal in WA state. A bill of sale is not even required, but still a good idea. Sadly, stupid is also not illegal…
i will not buy or sell one without a bill of sale with name address and serial number and if i do not know him dl but its always best to have someone accompany you
and your weapon loaded if you have con carry

Um, sell it to your friend and they can do whatever they like after that…

Gun shows in states where private sales are legal are a good place to conduct your transaction safely. Here in Utah, and in Washington state, attendees can bring in guns to sell or can buy guns from other private parties no problem, in the presence of excellent security, and likely availability of whatever ammo the new owner desires…

Private sales are legal in Washington state. Most of the anti-gun lefty dumbarses are in the cities of Seattle, Olympia, Vancouver, and Spokane. In between, there are still a lot of actual Americans who own, enjoy, and buy and sell guns privately. That said, situational awareness and preparedness belong in the category of standard practices, unless you have masochistic tendencies…

And this mental giant was able to figure it out and become fed up after a mere 20 years? WOW! Just in time for retirement, I bet… The whole Mordor on the Potomac crowd is over and doesn’t know it… Thank God! Personally, I’m on to “Next”…

“The only thing that will allow change to happen is the 2016 election.”
Um, yeah, right. We’re sure that’s gonna work. The only way our “public servants” are going to do anything for we the people is if we start picking them from the parking lot at the local grocery store, or church maybe… couldn’t be any worse…Thanks, but I’ll just keep stackin’…

“The government that would take 10% would be exceedingly oppressive.” -Benjamin Franklin.
Heck, even God himself is happy with 10%.
What this country needs is a good 5 cent revolution… enough already…

You are a sick, twisted individual, and I’d be proud to call you my friend.
March 16, 2014 at 3:53am
True that, but we likely need to replace our Gov. Herbert, as he vetoed no permit carry after it passed both state houses with large majorities…

AGAIN- Where’s the NRA here? If they would step up, I’d join, but not holding my breath…
March 16, 2014 at 12:37am
If NRA was worth a hoot, they’d land on that school with a pack of shysters and show them the error of their ways! If they’d do that, I would join. Otherwise, meh…

So where the heck is the NRA here? If they were worth a hoot, they would round up a pack of shysters and land on this school like a ton of ***** and show them the error of their ways. This makes me glad I’ve never given NRA any of my money. I’m calling BS.

Actually, Ferdinand Porsche’s (yes, “that” Porsche) vision when he created the VW was for a good vehicle for the common people. Sort of Germany’s answer to Henry Ford. We’ll leave their politics for another day…

Should the workers use the money that would have been union dues to buy VW stock, they’ll likely be smiling come retirement time…

Worst idea in a very long time. We the People would get our heads handed to us in the event of a Constitutional Convention. The right can’t fight its way out of a wet paper bag, much less “improve” on the masterwork of our Founders. Our present Constitution is just fine, it’s just not used much… We, especially on juries, need to follow it to the letter and most of our problems will go away pretty quickly. Get and stay registered to vote, serve on jury duty, and vote “innocent” in each and every instance where the Constitution does not specifically mention or address the “crime” or the “law” being tried, and also in any case where there is no human victim. This is about 90% or more of what goes through our “justice system”. Not hard, just imagine you have a brain, then use it!!!

VERY BAD IDEA! The totally inept rightists will once again bring peashooters to a gunfight, and We the People will be handed our ass by the left, who understand that this is for keeps and will play accordingly, versus the right, who couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag. We need to concentrate on reinstating our existing Constitution, to the letter rather than giving our current crop of idiots access to the masterwork of our Founders. The last thing our Constitution needs is any “help” from the criminals presently “representing” us…
