  Sorry, I’m calling BS. He (or anyone ambitious) could start mowing lawns, doing yardwork, washing windows, washing cars, whatever. Our 12 year old son was regularly earning $100 or more a day around our “economically depressed” small town, using nothing but motivation and initiative. All he had to do was to want to work. He went door to door and busted his butt, and built up a nice little business on his own terms. If a 12 year old can do it, anyone else who wants to can do it as well. This used to be how we Americans rolled, remember? The left and our “leader” can be depressed all they want- Those who wish to may have a life all they want… Pick one and live with it.

  Way back in the day, when my dad talked to me about sex, one of the very the first things he emphasized was that sex is between myself and my partner, and no one elses business. Period. This was considered part of being a lady or a gentleman. Or having some class, if you will. The point I am getting to is that folks that keep their private business private don’t have problems with others’ acceptance, etc. To me, folks with these issues have totally brought it upon themselves, and are reaping what they themselves have sown. A true conservative takes personal responsibility, so let’s see some already. Next case…

  Utah is good. I am non-LDS, lived here out in the middle of nowhere years ago & it was LDS clannish in my small town to say the least. 25 years later, along the Wasatch front (~50 miles N&S of SLC), not nearly so much. My small service business is absolutely flourishing. Folks here appreciate and respond to honesty and good service. Also, the LDS influence has kept a lot of the liberal blight at bay. If you like family oriented, self motivated prepper types you’ll fit in around here.

  (I hate that I can only reply to first post in a thread rather than to each individual post) Wouldn’t selling to lawbreakers constitute conspiracy? Wouldn’t this be a valid reason to not honor what could arguably be considered an illegal contract? I’m sure the leftists would handle it that way if it was in their interests. On the other hand, “Conservatives” are well known for bringing pillows to gunfights…
