Keaton does make a salient point. There’s a pile of spelling mistakes here from people who seem to know more than this guy with a PhD in physics. Seriously, why the vitriol? You’ve read one oblique article about a quirky stunt in class and suddenly you know this guy well enough to, say, analogize to a socialist military figure? I’m not kidding, listen to yourselves; you’re losing grip.

Salient point. And this story very much IS about deterrence AS WELL as neutralizing an assailant. That’s what Gohmert is talking about when he cites the stat about such events only happening in unarmed places. Critical thinking (and reading) for children indeed.
