Maybe we can then had New York State and Cesspool City. Shedding that useless fluster cluck would benefit the whole red upstate tremendously. I’m SICK of paying for NYC and being governed by people who wouldn’t know the backside of a milk cow from a hole in the ground. Idiots.

Not everything in Walmart is made in China. There’s things there made in America. I know because I buy them. Who’s to blame for walmart? No one buys exclusively from America, because we just don’t make that much here. Hop down off your soap boxes and get behind something. Who else is going to shift the enormous tide of outsourced job except one of the largest companies in this country? You think ma and pa local shop are? Wouldn’t they have made an impact by now if they could? If they want to do this, we best hold them accountable. Purchase made in america so they have a ready market for success.

Of course they endorsed it. They offer the cheapest plan now. That’s just good business.

How much does it cost to buy a comity? Not much, I’m sure. How unbiased could they possibly be? Not very. Put all the evidence out for the public. Let us decide, since it is ultimately us who they answer to. Problem solved. The people feel not enough was done to stop Bengazi. THAT’S what decides if what Obama did was right or not. Not giving orders to go in is the same as stand down. Anyone not being paid by the federal government to chair an investigating comity knows that.

You know how else went for the guns? It wasn’t just the redcoats. It was the forming republic. If you refused to join the cause the green mountain boys simply took your weapons and you could carry on as usual.

I don’t think anyone actually reads the bible. Seriously. Why if its exactly like it says? In the beginning God made the heavens and earth. And then at another time… NOW the surface of the earth was featherless and void. And he made a bunch of other stuff. And THEN he said NOW let us make man in our image. As if man were already a thing. And what if, beyond all that, the bible was an inclusive, exhaustive, study on the nature of God for the purpose of reconciliation of man to his creator and NOT in fact a natural history? I dont understand why the two schools of thought are so at odds with each other? As if we could ever take one book and know everything about and infinite God, or as if science could ever prove anything more than how little we DO know. Everyone needs to chill out. The whole earth gives testament to God, that’s what he said, so maybe the argument lies with us, the christians, who for whatever reason find it a threat to the understanding we’ve adopted for ourselves. Yeesh.

to be fair pedophelia is no longer considered an emotional or psychological disorder. Just like homosexuality before it it has been officially recognized as a sexual orientation by the medical field.

My husband’s second cousin OD’d to commit suicide. She killed herself but was resuscitated by EMS and kept alive by them until they put her on machines at the hospital. She laid there, ‘brain dead’ after numerous tests. The family came to say goodbye a couple days later so they could pull the plug. And at the LAST moment while the brother was alone saying goodbye she just… woke up. She had NO brain activity. And now she’s totally normal. In a home for the crazy people, but otherwise normal. I have a cousin who said after working in a Columbus hospital for nearly a decade she’d seen it more than a time or two. Even after brain scans these people just… wake up some times.

Science is a religion to some people, and it also has its fanatics. I agree with Bill’s sentiment to preserve and encourage scientific exploration. I don’t however agree with his constantly attacking people of faith. Everyone on the planet cultures their own areas of ignorance. Whether they look down a microscope or their self righteous noses.

I am a die hard believer. I also love science and archeology and history- it’s what I focus on as an adult back in college. I don’t understand why there is such an upheaval between science and faith. The bible is not a history of the earth- I know this is shocking to a lot of Christians, but the purpose of the Bible is singular: to reconcile mankind to its creator. If it doesn’t directly lead to that goal its not included. Our understanding of creation is insanely limited. But my understanding from Genesis, Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah and other books that give glimpses into the ‘before’ is that there was indeed an earth prior to 6-10,000 years ago. Why on earth science should ever disprove God or threaten someone’s faith is beyond me. We’re only ever going to learn more about creation which cries out to its maker day and night. So why all the panic and insecurity? Evolution is a theory that doesn’t fit the story we know in the bible. That doesn’t mean there weren’t things, humanoids, animals, and civilizations before our time. Culturing an ignorance in our children to block out 4 billion years of data IS scientifically unsound and its just a asinine as the divisions within the Church over tongues, healing, or doctrine. Reconcile yourself and your understanding to God, teach your kids what you have found after seeking, and everyone just calm the heck down. Science is good, it fulfills prophecy- how else does all the world hear the gospel, for instance? Just shhh. Relax.

I’ve never heard it sound like static. It sounds like a distant freight train, or an idling rumbling big engine. If its really loud it will vibrate pictures on walls and doors hanging open on their hinges.
