  • Oh, hello Eugenics! How are you doing today?

  • Awesome. Pure and simple.

  • Video: An animated look at the free market

    November 17, 2012 at 11:49am

I could definitely see this video being shown in an economics class at the college level, or even at the 6th grade level, in support of free enterprise and a free market.

I was waiting for the negative commentary about government, socialistic practices and totalitarian regimes and how they get in the way of creativity and ideas. . . but it never came, which I think is good! I’m glad that this video is just all positive about the free market and not negative about anything. I think it makes this a great teaching tool for children and adults.

Our schools and universities need to stop pushing social justice agendas and start pushing the need for innovators and entrepreneurs.

  • [“It is a shame that anytime something goes wrong, they pick on women and minorities,” Fudge said.]

Then Obama should stop sending women and minorities to do his dirty work where they will fail and the truth of it will come out.

[The female House members argued that Rice would have no motivation to mislead the American people.]
. . . Unless Obama has promised political favors for her in exchange for doing his dirty work and lying to the American people.

[The Democratic women also contrasted McCain and Graham’s criticism with their defense of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who had warned of weapons of mass destruction in pressing for war in Iraq that killed more than 4,400 Americans. No weapons of mass destruction were found.]

They conveniently left out the part where we ousted a ruthless dictator responsible for countless deaths and funding & aiding terrorist groups, and freed a nation’s people from his rule. But please, do continue to minimize the efforts and contributions to our great military.

These representatives of America should know better that all they are doing is polarizing the nation further.

  • Christians do not believe after they die they fly away and rule another planet in the Solar System as a god.
    - Neither do Mormons.

Christians believe in ONE BOOK OF GOD CALLED THE BIBLE.
    - The Bible is a collection of books that have been translated. The compilation of the Bible is said to have taken place when Emperor Constantine assumed theological control over the Church at that time.

It is blasphemy to believe in another.
    - It is not blasphemy to believe in more of the Word of God, so long as it IS the Word of God.

Christians do not believe that Mary wasn‘t a virgin
    - Neither do Mormons.

  • Christians are monotheism – not polytheism.
    - Christians believe in God, the Father; Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten of the Father; and the Holy Spirit. 3 Beings that make up the Trinity, or Godhead.

Christians do not believe their scripture came out of a magic hat
    - Neither do Mormons. The Book of Mormon is another witness of the divinity of Christ, and His teachings. It was written on golden plates, which were translated by Joseph Smith. Eye-witness accounts of these plates, and the translation of the characters/lettering from the plates have been recorded as true.

nor do they believe in magic underwear
    - Neither do Mormons. We read in the Bible that God made clothing for Adam and Eve, and that He prescribed special garments to be worn for Aaron and his sons to work in the Tabernacle.

Christians do not believe they evolve into a god like Jesus – even surpassing Him.
    - Neither do Mormons. Jesus is our Elder Brother; we are all spirit children of our Heavenly Father. Where Christ went, He went to prepare a place for us. The Father has given Christ everything, and we can have the same inheritance with Christ.

Christians do not believe there are 3 heavens and no hell.
    - Neither do Mormons. Jesus taught that there are many mansions in His Father’s kingdom. Hell is a special place reserved for those who reject Christ’s Gospel, and who do not repent of their sins.
