  Obama is half correct, it was indeed a shameful day on the floor of the US Senate, just not for the reason he stated. The Constitution was under full assault on that floor by people who swore an oath to protect and defend said Constitution that is wherein the shame lays. This Congress and the previous have repeatedly voted for or to advance bills no one read and some which where not yet fully written. Our Founding Fathers would spit in their faces and demanded they resign for such a treasonous act. Yet there they sit ploting and planning more of the same.

  When discussing Gun Control Liberals use words like Reasonable, Rational, Commonsense. In their minds these words mean “Whatever we can get away with”. Our NICS currently in place is less than adequate only because the law is NOT enforced, those who lie on ATF form 4473 are not procecuted. Those adjudicated mentally disqualified are often not included, and there is no process in place to flag those known by LE to be disturbed to be added to the list of disqualified persons. If only we could get our legislators to focus on the real problems we could avoid so much waste of time and money and truely protect ourselves and the children from criminals and the criminally insane.

  This article fails to mention the transfer of CCW holder information to a third party is against MO. law. What good is any law if LE itself does not respect it or follow it? I made the effort to get my CCW in order to comply with the law, now I have reason to regret it. I have no doubt now that my info has been added to a Fed. list of suspecious persons who is armed and possibly dangerous because I am lawabiding and exercise my “Right to Keep and Bare Arms”. It has come to this?

  As I recall O’bummer, during one debate, denied the living room fundraiser at Ayers place. Ofcourse that is but one in a very long list of lies the current POTUS committed in the past 5yrs. and that list grows daily. It’s as if he, O’bummer, is compelled to lie repeatedly even about the smallest things. Such a person should NOT hold the highest office in the land, yet he is and even worse was reelected after it became obvious he’s a perpetual Lier. We will all suffer the consequences of what he has done and will do, not just those who blindly support him.
