You mean kids will have to draw out charts and our friend the ten and all that – er – stuff – while trying to keep score during a game? Wow, keeping score will take longer than the game. Besides, I thought sports was not about winning or losing or scores, but just trying or being there was good enough.

It’s BS like this that drives young girls to hate their looks and hate themselves. Instead of being happy, young people feel ugly and despised. Size 12 is a “plus” size. What a crock. Once a friend of mine who was trying out for modeling was told by the person in charge that models are nothing but hangers. Anyone heavier than a clothes hanger should just turn around and leave. And young people think they should look like that.
    Shame

The Supreme Court doesn’t need to settle the issue….the Constitution says what the Federal Government can do, and everything else belongs to the States or the people…..that isn’t a hard question.

Now the Church must be “living and breathing” just like the Progressives say about the US Constitution? Instead of being “a standard to which the wise and honest can repair” (repair in the sense of standing with, going back to, a pillar of strength and fortitude)? Instead of a truth that is the hope of the hopeless and help of the helpless? Instead of being the steadfast pillar of the Word of God? That is backwards thinking. We should be finding ways to gain strength from the truth, regardless of the times or situations, not change it.
“Truth is singular. Its versions are mistruths”.

Poor Childperson Harf has to make up stories to protect Ketchup from his own words. One of the world’s dirtiest jobs, but she enjoys it.

Cardinal, there is no pope in the vatican right now. Maybe our Lord wants you out of there, so you can preach the truth as He did, in humility, to the people. In Malta, you will not be silent. Even if the man Francis tries to demote you completely, your voice will not be silent. You do not follow the man Francis. You follow our Lord.

Exactly…was it a cheat sheet or was it a study guide for before the exam? Was she peeking at it during the exam, or was it in her pencil bag where she was not looking at it? If she was doing something suspicious, why wasn’t something said? Sounds like a jealous teacher to me.

Don’t be too smart or the mediocre, jealous teachers will getcha! Go along to get along…good little dogie (as in cattle).

I think this is very cool and I hope the researchers develop something important with it…but I have a question.
What is it with all this concern about “comfort”? What our visual system is “comfortable” with? how about…what our visual system can interpret or what our visual system can recognize or what we can comprehend given the abilities or limitations of the human visual system?

It is just as weird as having students having a comfort level with math facts in common core.

Why does he think atheists should attack religion? I know atheists who believe their way and do not deny the right of others to their own way. We each believe the other is wrong, but believe in the others’ right to believe or not believe. Of course we each hope the others will come to their senses, and try to live in ways that will encourage that, but we do not demean or attack one another.
