It’s time to get back into the fight, Glenn. Stronger than ever. No more “prepare it’s all over”. It is not over yet. The window is closing, but it is not closed There is still time.

The American Worker is speaking clearly…Unions do not represent workers. They represent Union Power. American workers are not blocs of power for Socialists and Communists. Unless and until unions speak with the voices of the workers, then we say Begone!

So why did the chasee flee at speed if the police car did not have lights on? Why would anyone just drive away at high speed, especially from a police car? Why would he run a red light, if he did not think he was being pursued?
But is it the standard practice to pull over and/or pursue a driver for no other reason than seat belts? I thought the seat belt had to be part of some other reason, like speeding or reckless driving or something…but maybe it is different in each state.
Probably depends on the state. In California, they use to have to have a different reason, but that changed just a couple of years after they passed the seatbelt law. Now they can pull you over just for that.
A better question is your first part. Why get into a high speed chase over a seat belt? That's definitely a case of "you're going to make it worse in order to enforce a stupid law".
Good question. I suspect that there was something in the car that the driver didn't want the police to see.

What bothers me about this is the presumption that the driver needs to be protected from LYING POLICE.
What is that all about?
You act as if all drivers in DUI checkpoints are guilty of drunk driving. Not questioning how a DUI checkpoint is even constitutional. Maybe we can expand this to include home searches, so the police can search everyone's home for that one household that contains marijuana. Police procedures aren’t predicated on following the law, so if law abiding citizens know their rights and can avoid unlawful questioning and being manipulated into thinking the police have the right to search their vehicle without provocation they can escape unnecessary harassment. That wasn’t difficult to understand, was it?

Righty-o…your money and your savings and your pension and your 401K belong to the government in the NWO.
Why? Walmart will just show it as a loss and WE will end up paying for it with higher prices. No skin off their teeth.

When I was a kid, if we climbed someone’s tree and fell out of it and broke an arm, our folks just took us to the doctor and we got a cast. No matter what, It was just something that happened when kids played. Now, if a kid climbs someone’s tree and falls out, the person with the tree gets sued into their next lifetime, even if the kid is not hurt.
Hence fences and no trespassing signs instead of neighbors and neighborhoods. So sad.

Many Catholics say – and have been saying – there is no pope in the Vatican. More are seeing it every day.

You mean kids will have to draw out charts and our friend the ten and all that – er – stuff – while trying to keep score during a game? Wow, keeping score will take longer than the game. Besides, I thought sports was not about winning or losing or scores, but just trying or being there was good enough.

It’s BS like this that drives young girls to hate their looks and hate themselves. Instead of being happy, young people feel ugly and despised. Size 12 is a “plus” size. What a crock. Once a friend of mine who was trying out for modeling was told by the person in charge that models are nothing but hangers. Anyone heavier than a clothes hanger should just turn around and leave. And young people think they should look like that.

The Supreme Court doesn’t need to settle the issue….the Constitution says what the Federal Government can do, and everything else belongs to the States or the people…..that isn’t a hard question.
It is a hard question. The question is the states or the people part. The correct answer is that marriage is an individual right, so the state does not have a right to regulate or restrict the manner in which the people exercise the right to marry any more than is necessary to ascertain who is or is not married and to whom.

May God rest him and comfort his family and friends.
Love wolf spiders and the little jumping spiders. We had one in our house that the kids named jumpy. One of my 2 year olds got so excited that now anytime she sees anything move from a fly to a gnat to a piece of fuzz she starts jumping and pointing and saying 'pidur' 'pidur'.
On a more serious note I have never seen a wolf spider legs and all that was much bigger than a Gatorade cap, much less a body that size and four inch leg span. I think someone was exaggerating a bit. Really cool how they carry their babies around too. They are better mothers than many humans I know.
