  • All very good replies, thanks. Maybe because I didn’t have have to go through what the homeowners in Watertown went through I was more likely to trust the police who were doing their best to not let a killer get away. For some reason I’m not as outraged as others are. I could be wrong though.

I may just be burnt out on outrage after the last decade of governmental encroachment that I’m no longer shocked or angered by abuses that in the past would have fired me up. Keep fighting the good fight, I’ll be on the other side of town preaching the gospel.

  • So what would you want the police to do if one of the bombers was in your home with a gun to your wife or child’s head? Would you want them to do door to door searches or just hang around the neighborhood in case he came out. Don’t get your outrage ahead of your common sense. The suspect had already shown disregard for human life and was obviously in the area. The police had a duty to protect the people in the neighborhood from this guy. I for one would be happy to see them on my door step given the same situation.
The other side of the argument is that if I had an AR15 what action would the police have taken if I were locked and loaded and ready to protect my home when they cane knocking. Would they have respected my right to protect my home or would they consider me an armed combatant and take my weapon from me?
While I don’t think the home searches were a breach of the 4th amendment I would like to know how searches in the future will be handled if a homeowner is armed.

  • Patton is a good guy but I disagree with his world view. Humans are inherently evil and we see it every day all over the globe and since the beginning of time. It is why we need God and why we are called to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. I do agree with other things that Patton said, that those who do evil (as in these kinds of acts) are out numbered by the rest of us but even though we aren’t blowing up innocents we have our own evils to overcome. There is more to evil than just committing murder. There are a whole host of other sins that we humans embrace daily that ultimately hurt others, ourselves and society as a whole. Good to know Patton is at least sane, it would be better to know he is saved.

  • Lol

  • The smokers rights crowd is fired up!

  • POG People Other than Grunts
Grunt: Ground replacement untrained-From WWII now means basic infantry.

Mr Speedwaggon is right, this guys done. If you can’t handle a fender bender you are of no use to the Corps.

For the people who think I disrespect the Marines, you have no idea. My son is a Marine and will one day be a DI and let me tell you there is nothing better, nothing more worth my respect and no one I would rather have in my home than a United States Marine who lives up to the standards of the Corps.

Those of you who think you could have pulled a weapon on the guy, lol. ok, you’re tough. The guy behind the wheel handled it like a man. No need to scream back, get out or fight. Just sit and wait it out, there was no danger there. it obviously happened on base at Pendelton and it wan’t going to escalate past his little tantrum.

  • He’s done. UCMJ prevents this kind of behavior and he will be weeded out but not before he is checked for PTSD. The couple in the truck were traumatized? LOL, they got worse in boot camp. A DI is scarier than that guy. A big congrats to the driver for keeping his cool, not making eye contact. That is not easy to do especially when you have a wounded vet in the car that deserves respect.

  • Don’t miss the point. Obama is a King like Herod was a president. He has great power and influence in the world and regardless of his inability to be wise he needs to be addressed by those who convene with God so they can make their appeals.Calling Obama a king in this context is no praise. It is instead an appeal for the Jews to follow their faith and do as the Torah and Talmud direct.

  • Let me tell you that what Norm is going through is every day stuff for comedians. I went through it all the time until I left the clubs and started working only in Christian venues. Green rooms were filled with caustic comments made by elitist leftist comedians shocked that I read the bible. I was asked on more than one occasion if I knew what was in that book…amazing. THEY don’t know what the bible says but are quick to pull scripture out of context and tell others how terrible and hateful Christianity is. That’s show business. Robin Williams once said to me after a good set in Marin county, “They really liked your bible football bit because they don’t think that you really believe in all that s***” I said, yeah, well I do. That was the last he had to say to me. If you are planning on a career in comedy or acting, get ready for this kind of attitude to be the norm.
