trump is riding the same type of wave the obama rode in to the presidency. people are supporting him based on what he says and how he makes them feel regardless of his past positions (partial birth abortion) or his current ones (universal health care.) It is very scary that our side is doing this now. I’m concerned that we have no idea what Trump will do if/when he becomes president.

I don’t agree with those saying this was a friendly gesture by Trump. I think its clear, evidenced by him missing his name a 2nd time, that Trump, like Carson, couldn’t hear his name being called. This was a hilarious train wreck! LOL! I love the look Jeb Bush gave Trump after patting him on the arm! priceless!

It would go a long way towards forgiveness and leniency if these 2 young men would personally and publicly apologize to the ref for what they did. If they don’t do that, then do don’t deserve it…

    @LaughinOL — I’m guessing ctmom’s comments were sarcastic.

I don’t really understand all of these posts claiming that Glenn has given up. I think he’s made it pretty clear that he and his organization are moving in a new direction; focusing on solutions instead of just decrying the problems. Furthermore, he wants to restore America by fostering community, teaching true American history to debunk the revisionist history so often taught in educational institutions, and inspiring people to their true potential.

I’m excited to see whats in-store. I hope to find a way to attend the Man in the moon event.

I carry concealed and I’ve never once taken my gun out of its holster in the bathroom much less forgotten left it there. If you wear the gun in a holster on your person, this should not be an issue so… not sure what you’re talking about there…

I attended high school at a school that had an SRO… an armed SRO (student resource officer.) I never felt like my school was a prison. If we were to add to that a couple of more sheriff’s deputies or a couple of armed teachers carrying concealed I don’t think that would make the school a “prison.” You are falsely characterizing this issue by taking you argument to an extreme (making schools a prison) for which no one is advocating.

Your argument seems to be based on emotion; you should rethink it so that you can make a worthwhile contribution to the conversation instead of contributing to hysteria.

Bloomington South should not be ashamed of their success. Their coach should not be ashamed of his superior coaching and training of his team. The young ladies who play for their team should not be embarrassed by their superior skill and superior team. If anyone should be ashamed, it should be the Arlington team members, coach, and staff; for being so overwhelmingly out-played and outperformed. Now if this was the Arlington team vs the NBA’s LA Lakers, then no one would have any reason to be mad or ashamed; the Arlington team would have been out-classed. But these 2 teams are presumably evenly-matched and in the same class. The fact that Arlington was beaten so badly makes me wonder if they even took this game seriously; do they practice?
The Arlington team could learn something from this and let this defeat be the impetus to become a much better team but they won’t get there if they continue to deflect blame for their loss onto Bloomington South.
    Shameful, Arlington, shameful.

This isn’t an embarrassment for Bloomington but rather an embarrasment for Arlington; how could they be beat so bad?!!!
Its really sad that some people will allow the Arlington team, coach, and staff deflect blame for THEIR shoddy performance by blaming the other team for being so much better.

This was the 2nd time this Auto Zone has been robbed by the same guy! Shame on you Auto Zone for firing this man! How many times do your employees and customers have to be put in danger before you do something about it or allow someone to do something about it? Well, since you fired one of the only employees you had willing to defend your patrons and other employees, it won’t be surprising if you’re hit again by the same guy!

I’m sure you know everything there is to know about Glenn Beck, his company, and its finances, right? We should take it from you b/c you say so…
Please, if you don’t like the company or the info you’re getting from the blaze then take a hike! Quit trying to drag other people down with your pessimistic miserable attitude!

I tend to agree with that. Let’s see what happens

“the accused– which also includes six Coptic Christians– face charges of harming national unity, insulting and publicly attacking Islam, and spreading false information. The office said they could face the death penalty if convicted…”

No freedom of speech in Egypt… Some democracy…! Thanks to Obama admin for supporting the ousting of Mubarak… its really worked out… NOT!!!

For those of you opining that Glenn doesn’t ever face-off with people with whom he disagrees, did you never watch his show on Fox? He had on his show Rod Blogo, Sam Webb (communist party leader,) a national spokesman for Acorn, he was regularly on Bill O’Reilly’s show to be challenged on his views (not exactly unfriendly media but Bill does often challenge and disagree.) I’m sure there are others but can’t think of them now.

“BREAKING: 4 @CODEPINK activists speak out during Mitt Romney during his presidential candidate nomination acceptance speech.”

OOOH 4? Wow! Big numbers! Congrats!… NOT… how pathetic!

This makes me sick. They’re persecuting Lance for reasons unknown to me. I don’t believe that they have the evidence they say they have. I hope the next President Mitt Romney will immediately get rid of this agency upon entering the White House.

If they do segregate the CC students to a separate dorm, it would be the safest dorm on campus…I’d opt to stay be housed in it.

“If on November 7 we wake up, and we have a President Barack Obama for four more years, I’ll feel so happy about it because I know that I had a part in it.”

Very interesting that this statement begins with “If” instead of “When.” I think its an indication of the difference in attitude/confidence of Obama supporters this year compared with 2008.

I don’t think immediate discharge from their unit is appropriate here. If they honestly didn’t mean to invoke the nazi ss with this flag but rather had an alternate meaning for the flag, then they should just be allowed to issue an apology along with a picutre with an alternate flag design. This doesn’t seem to be a punishable offense, just an honest misunderstanding.

The dog is being detained by animal control….? This dog didn’t do anything aggressive. This was a defensive action by the dog to tell her to GET OUT OF HIS FACE! And what’s this about “She’s awake and visiting with family…?” You’d think she’d been mauled or something. At worst, this injury required a couple of stitches… not surgery. People need to quit embellishing these stories.
