  • Moniz, 68, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, replaces Steven Chu, who served as Energy secretary in President Barack Obama’s first term. Moniz served as an energy undersecretary in the Clinton administration.

So let me get this straight, Mr. Moniz who served as a energy undersecretary during the Enron days is now in charge of the Energy Department?
And the Big Banks, along with the Oil Corporations that control all carbon market exchanges, while trading derivatives, and manipulating carbon go unregulated.
Simply creating something for profit and nothing else, while less business is created here at home in the U.S; and rewarded with a sliver, of a sliver of the global warming pie?
I’ve heard certain elected officials want government to approve loans for thirty nuclear power plants, is this true?

  • May I propose a ” get rid of Mary Cheh bill”.

Dumb a– lawmakers have no place in any level of government.

  • What level of intelligence is indicated in our society by the support of Obama? The Republic is on its death bed, and on life support.

  • REPUBLICORP,

    Thanks for the laugh.

  • Just another nail in the coffin of the Republican form of government..

Those that hate, or that are unaware, of the “Republic and for which it stands,” are destroying the Republic intentionally, or unintentionally, slowly establishing a ruling party over all U.S. Citizens, and non-citizens, which will eventually end in despair for freedom loving souls.

New York, wake up, would you let someone that has never built, rebuilt, or received any training, to work on the brakes of your subway trains. Knowledge is the key, and you’re already in trouble due to a education system that has failed to educate the children about government and economics.

  • Real History: Nuclear Proliferation

The best offense is a strong defense, and diplomacy.

Over the years I.C.B.M’s and other weapons have become obsolete. New weapons technology, invented to handle any kind of threat with constant perseverance, and the will to work with freedom loving nations around the globe to prevent a catastrophe from taking place is just the starting point.

There are certain nations in this world that need to be isolated, and the world knows who they are. That does not mean that diplomacy and support should be denied.

The United States of America enjoys more freedom than any nation throughout history, and was designed by free men to promote good will towards all, unfortunately, there are those that have never understood the founding principles, they object, or obstruct them constantly for self interest and gain.

“The Shining City Upon A Hill,” and “That Beacon Of Light,” will only exist when we start running this nation with the intent of our Founders, and the spirit they held to, which is evident in their writings.

  • Chris Christie: ‘I’m a Damn Good Republican’

    In reply to booger71.

So you believe Christie is open minded? Even after the videos you’ve seen of him belittling his constituents.

    In reply to BenKatz.

Let’s just say, “Mr. Christie is not what this country needs.”

  • The courts are to make no ruling for or against religion.

Congress shall make no law respecting, (regarding or with regard to) an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

In the eyes of the Founding Fathers, if Congress shall make no laws respecting, or regarding religion, what gives a judicial court which is a part of government, and appointed by the people, the right to make rulings in regard to laws that do not exist pertaining to religion?

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN,

    EPHESIANS I: 15-23

    Prayer for knowledge and understanding

15 Wherefore I also,*after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints.

16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers.

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.

23 Which in his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

Without Jesus no one will be filled with the Holy Ghost, and live in the Kingdom of Heaven. Knowing Jesus and following the teachings of our Lord is your only hope of God’s mercy.
