At this point, any bill approved by congress, and sent to the president for signature, if not signed, is on the presidents shoulders. Please Mr. President, shut it down, there’s a reason you lost the house and senate. And I thought Carter was bad.

Without God, there is no soul. You are a child of God, like it, or not.

“I share this testimony, an open letter to my Covenant friends, to live in the light of my convictions. I share it out of a spirit of love and unity, not hostility or division,” he said. “I share it in the hope that in the end love and faith triumph over conflict and fear.”

Pastor Phillips, your convictions are not true to the word of God, or his son. As a Pastor, you are required by the word, to let the words of Christ be heard through you. Come on Pastor Phillips, what do those scriptures say?

vendingdude, his calculations in the far right vertical column show 7 hours off duty, 6 hours in the sleeper. That in itself, is a violation. Any 24 hour log must show at least 8 hours in the sleeper.

exactly why we have new regulations every year, along with accidents and lawsuit’s. a man and his two sons were just awarded 40 million from Estes Trucking, wife and mother killed by fatigued driver. dash cams are becoming a popular way to defend yourself in court, but they will never protect a distracted, aggressive or fatigued driver.

in 2015 your hours can very, depending on what you run, team, or solo. a lot of teams run what they call the 8-3-3 rule, some solo’s run what they call the 8-2-2 rule. 8 hours on, 3 or 2 hours off (team or solo), 3 or 2 (team or solo) hours on, and then 8 hours off. you are allowed 70 working hours in a 8 day period, if you reach 70 working hours on your 7th day you must take a 34 hour reset. the daily 14 hour clock is a timer, once started it cannot be stopped, you must complete all your driving, fueling, inspections, and stops within that 14 hour period. let’s say you’re driving solo, you’ve been down for 10 consecutive hours, 2 hours off duty, 8 in the sleeper. at this point you have a fresh 14 hour clock. you log in, your 14 hour clock starts. now, you drive 4 hours to Walmart, check in, and bump the dock for a total of 4.5 hours. you now go to off duty, while you’re waiting for Walmart to unload you, your 14 hour clock is still running. if Walmart takes 7 hours to unload you, you now have only 2.5 hours left on your 14 hour clock. clock management is a very important to a driver today, most drivers have to use electronic logs through a QualComm system via satellite. the electronic logs are monitored by the DOT, and other small rules do apply, too many to discuss in this thread, including smaller automatic resets depending upon log management according to status. This does not mean you can cheat with electronic logs, if your tractor is moving, they know it!

The horizontal columns in a professional drivers log are listed from top to bottom.
    1. Off Duty
    2. Sleeper
    3. Driving
    4. On duty ( not driving)
In a 24 Hr. period, a driver can work up to 14 hours, but only drive up to 11. The other 3 hrs. are reserved for inspections, fueling, checking in and out for deliveries, and pick ups, etc.
10 hours, of the 24 hour are reserved for 8 hours of sleep, and 2 hrs off duty, to launder clothes, etc.
Look at the log in the article, this gentleman shows 7 hours off duty, and only 6 hours in the sleeper, this is a direct violation of Federal Regulations, and is punishable by termination. Trucking companies are responsible for the drivers they hire, and all logs are under Federal review. 8 hours of sleep is required on every 24 hour log sheet.

July 6th, 1775 ( Part of the “Declaration of the Causes and Necessity of Taking up Arms”)
Our cause is just. Our union is perfect. Our internal resources are great, and, if necessary, foreign assistance is undoubtedly available. We gratefully acknowledge, as signal instances of the Divine favour towards us, that his providence would not permit us to be called into this severe controversy, until we were grown up to our present strength, had been previously exercised in warlike operation, and possessed of the means of defending ourselves With hearts fortified with these animating reflections, we most solemnly, before God and the world, declare, that, exerting the utmost energy of those powers, which our beneficent Creator has graciously bestowed upon us, the arms we have been compelled by our enemies to assume, we will, in defiance of every hazard, with unabating firmness and perseverence, employ for the preservation of our Liberties; being with one mind resolved to die freeman rather than to live slaves.

The Founders just used more words to describe it.

Any two drivers insisting on the right of way will always end badly. Professional drivers are taught to constantly check all mirrors every eight seconds, and to yield to aggressive drivers. Professional drivers know the damage 80,000 pounds can do to others, and themselves, they should avoid collisions at all costs, including loss of life, if necessary. Watch the video again, and look into the convex mirror to the right, you can clearly see the oncoming cars failing to yield to the tractor/trailer. The appropriate response would have been, for the driver of the tractor/trailer to use controlled braking. One more point, even though hands free devices are approved for use, avoidance of use while driving, is recommended.

Complete waste of time, and tax revenue. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. Trying to legislate, or regulate religion, is the same as impeding ones beliefs. All laws, and rulings by any branch of government pertaining to religion are unconstitutional.

At some point in this woman’s life she suffered a direct blow to the head, and never recovered.
What does this say about her constituents?

President Kennedy signed executive order 10925 on 6 March,1961, affirmative action.
President Johnson signed executive order 11246, in 1964 as part of the civil rights act.

Affirmative action, or Positive Discrimination has been in place for 50 years, not 30. Discrimination of any type, against any ethnic group, is simply wrong.
