A full chokehold would have been better. He’d be unconscious in 5 seconds when done right stopping the flow of blood to the brain. Because it wasn’t done right, they end up choking him instead.

While those that know the difference, to the general public it’s all the same. It’s very difficult to put someone in a perfect capotid hold while struggling, even harder to get the perfect lock and squeeze for a perfect 3 second to sleepy time.

The officer in garners case clearly didn’t have a carotid hold, because if he did, he’d be unconscious in under 5 seconds not crying out that he cant breathe.

During army combatives back when they allowed you to be out to sleep so you could know what it feels like, from the moment the squeeze began, I was out in about 3 seconds. Woke up thought I was out for like a week and forgot where I was for a few seconds.

You must be new here. This is the oldest “joke” of the forum. It was funny the first week or two after Oresident Obama said it about tray on and used with every news story involving a criminal black man, but dear god its been over a year….

How is a vagina any less of an output than a rectum?

Most are only a hair away from being no better than Westboro Church members. If it weren’t for going after Soldiers, i bet most here actually would support them

  • [2] July 22, 2014 at 4:19pm

When did Westboro Church start commenting on the blaze?

A lot of cowards on the forums just down voting with no discussion.

In a comment section community that’ll drop the phrase “entitlement baby” every other article about liberals but support this guys entitlement view point blows my mind.

PTSD is a real problem and I have no doubt animals help. I want a dog so bad, I don’t sleep well anymore, nothing helps and I stopped taking sleeping pills. But I know i signed a lease that prohibits me from owning pets. Should I say screw that? Am I entitled to break contracts because I’m a veteran?

While I highly oppose government intervention and oppose the city government in this case, if the neighbors are upset, he should have consideration for them as well. 14 ducks?

I don’t think he should be fined or lose his ducks but for crying out load, common decency for your neighbors will be appreciated. Ducks? 14 of them?

Anonymous, so that house which is duck quack throws away is a block away? Must be an optical illusion.

And like i said, I don’t believe in government intervention. He can be the neighbor every loses sleep because and is hated by the entire neighborhood if he wants, your choice.

As a vet myself who has problems sleeping, I’d be furious if I were that neighbor in the photo. Ducks are far from silent and I don’t need to be up at 4:30am for PT anymore these days.

It’s a common courtesy, much like common sense.

I’m sorry but that pen looks disgusting and probably matches in smell. I doubt those ducks are mute either.

I’m all for liberty and freedom, I don’t believe in government intervention, but 14 ducks to treat PTSD? 14. Can’t see how close the houses are to each other but there’s freedom and there’s consideration for your neighbors.

The article said the rebels have claimed directly that they had stolen SA11 from Ukraine. The rebels have captured strategic areas and could have easily taken a few.

And your work already provides you with contraceptives. They give you a pay check, go but your damn condoms!

As an Agnostic Libertarian, I don’t understand the hate for Hobby Lobby. Ya don’t have to work for them if you don’t want to or have moral disagreement with management. The president of the company i work for is a devoted Christian. I respect his beliefs and he respects mine. We do our work as needed. If I ever feel that his beliefs interfere with my life and ability to perform my duties, I’ll seek employment elsewhere.

Sanctions are an act of war.

My M4 shot one round per trigger pull, I’m fine with calling it an assault rifle. My civilian AR15 is exactly the same, minus the option fit 3 round burst and I don’t care if anyone calls it an assault rifle. It’s just a word. Try to take it from me by force and it sure will do done assaulting, I promise you.

I’m sure you would have taken the extra 5 seconds to determine if the gun was real or not. If it was, you’d already been shot for hesitating. Me, I’d rather not risk it unless its an obvious pink Nerf gun. A lot of these air soft guns can look real, espailly at highway speeds and only seen in a glance.

Also, its not unheard of for criminals to paint guns to make them look like toys.

Slamming your breaks is faster to escape being shot than accelerating, unless you’re both going 40mph and your in a sports car. And you expect a random person to execute a pit maneuver?

  • [29] July 12, 2014 at 11:15pm

If I saw a pistol coming out of a car window of a moving car from the corner of my eyes, I’d break too. If you feel staring at a barrel of a gun that you can’t identify as real or fake within a second, that is all it takes between life and death, then something is wrong with your fight or flight reflexes.
