Disagree! These food service workers usually get min. wage and make their living in tips. Its so important to be generous to them.
You want to ban people from tipping? It's my money. I'll tip if I want.
Do not forget that wait staff in a restaurant makes $4.25 an hour . It is expected by the government that tips make up enough to bring them to the minimum wage . If they do not make tips then they barely make enough money to get to work never mind pay bills. If they do not make enough to meet minimum the company is supposed to cover the difference but trust me , they NEVER do.
It's this country's fault. Nowhere in the world does ripping exist, because people feel it is their job. I remember when I moved to Australia and got my hair cut. I went to tip and they laughed and said "you're American right? " I said yes. They said this is our job. We don't accept tips. When I moved to Singapore even more incredible. I was so impressed with the service and the waiter's manners, that I wanted to tip 20%. He said he couldn't accept it and looked embarrassed. He went and got his manager to explain that they were not allowed to accept tips. I was astonished. Fast forward to 2012. And I was working in In struck at the Olympics. The wait staff in the restaurants all expected to be tipped. I was sitting next to a Canadian family and asked if they were tipping since it seemed people were leaving tips, and he said "yes, now we have to tip everywhere because of you Americans!" He told me they never tip in Canada, but Americans have spoiled the world with tipping for this and that. I personally over tip, because ai know how hard these waiters and waitresses work, and their only pay is their tips. No base pay where ai live. They have to share with the busboys too. If the service is terrible, I only tip 10% but only to send a message; otherwise, I leave 20% and aim not wealthy. I feel that if my child was waiting tables, I'd want people to be generous to her... do unto others...

Non Christians served in the armed forces. As public property, it ought to be neutral.
That is the only argument that I believe has merit as much as there is a gut reaction against it. From a practical standpoint I could agree or at least see the argument as legitimate and debatable. That who separation clause argument though I don't agree with in it's entirety.
Can't they put up their own monument?
Perfect example of the "Tyranny of the Minority" !!!!
Oh, so we negate the validity of those soldiers with faith in favor of those who don't. How is that any different than compelling an atheist to accept a cross on their grave?

I dont understand something. First, 8 rounds shouldn’t have made him run dry so why did he not fire the second that door opened the second time. Hes damn lucky the guy didnt finish him off.
Why did he let the guy who shot him 3 times just open jus door and run off? That doesn’t make sense.
I hope he recovers well.

I promise you they would. Why haven’t they? Because they dont spend time and energy to put a flag pole up against HOA policy. Show me an article of anywhere in the country where this actually happened.

Fly those ISIS flags
October 21, 2014 at 9:17pm
But does the freedom to fly act apply to the obnoxious flag pole that is at the heart of the debate.

Local level? All HOAs are local and specific to the neighborhood.
They are self govern, and you sign an agreement before moving in. If you don’t like it, don’t buy that house or sign the contract.
[-1] October 21, 2014 at 9:06pm
Show me an HOA that allows said liberal douche propaganda while preventing conservative ones. Go on, I’ll be right here waiting.
That is not what I said. I suggest you read what I DID say, word for word, really slow OK. Then, go google :"homeowner forced to remove consertive", and then "homeowner forced to remove liberal"...see whatcha get.
October 21, 2014 at 9:04pm
I’m against HOA,ppersonally, but I understand their purpose. They may not maintain your home , but they maintain the neighborhood and a minimum standard to preserve property value. Rules like these are precisely for that, uniformity and the preservation of the community’s overall property value.
 October 21, 2014 at 8:56pm
More then likely they had a no flag rule. That’s a pretty standard aspect to most HOA. You knew there was an HOA, read the rules, signed the contract, bought the house, paid your dues and participated in HOA activites. This is america, where contract law is a basis in our freedom and responsibilities.
If you can’t be trusted to follow contractural rules you signed and agreed to, how can you be trusted to follow laws that you didn’t?

Right and the earth and universe being 10,000 years old is far more plausible. ….

What the fudge is wrong with this site? Every page after a few seconds directs to tracking.revenuesomebullcrap.com i was barely able to post a comment. iPhone 5
I know soldier, I'm getting that crap also. Happens way too often here!
I've had some stupid ads for one smart penny or some crap like that pop up when posting from my iPad. On my PC, I've had weird ad windows pop up even though I didn't click on anything but a story link. You're right -- there's gotta be something wrong. These stupid ads are outta control. Even with ad block, some are getting by.
OK guys heres the fix: I use firefox with Ghostery,Noscript, and Adblock plus. Make sure to whitelist "salthru horizon and google" or else the comments wont work. With this configuration 99% of those ads are taken care of.
They have 25+ scripts running on this site. 90% of them are focused on ad revenue generation and data harvesting you.
It makes the site run like crap and tells you the incompetence of the web designer that set it up. There is a better way to set up the scripts and run everything. As it is, they seem to let random people drop the ad's wholesale into the web page with out any checking to see what the effect will be.
I have no problems whatsoever. I am running Foxfire and Adblock Plus. Both are free. Give them a try.

Who travels commercial wearing Class As? Unless you work at the pentagon, there’s no reason to be wearing dress uniform as a regular thing.
Actually, depending on why he was traveling he might not have had a choice. If it was a business (a.k.a. military related) trip, his CO might have told him to wear the Class As. My dad, Lt JG in the navy made what he once called the most uncomfortable cross country flight from JFK to SFO in his dress uniform because his CO wanted to make it perfectly clear who he was representing when he went into a prison hospital to collect an AWOL sailor.
Why is it a problem to don full dress on a plane?
Class As or Bs in my day were considered proper dress when flying on official business, which I did many times; proudly. It obvious you are not up on AR670-1 or AFR35-10, regarding proper wear of a uniform. It pisses me off to see troops flying in ACUs..a duty/work uniform...flying in BDUs would have gotten a troop an ass chewing in my day. You have nice day now.
"Marle's parents told Eyewitness News their son's uniform is very important to him. He's been wearing it on job interviews across the country pursuing his dream to be a doctor."

I dont think first sergeants are on teams. He may be in a group as support and command, but i dont recall ever seeing a first sergeant operator.
His photo shows him as a First Sergeant and on his tunic were both the Ranger and SF Tabs... He looked the real deal and could have been in one of the 1SG slots at the "Q" Course or duties reassigned due to injuries!
When I was in the USAF the 1st Sargent was part of our unit/Squadron and you would go through him to see the CO. At one of my duty stations the 1st shirt, as we called him was a Master Sargent while my NCOIC was a Senior Master Sargent which is a rank higher. Typically the 1st Sargent was over all the paperwork for the squadron.
Agreed. He's probably in a staff position in an SFOD or at Q course.
Air Force First Sergeants are completely different from Army First Sergeants. In the USAF, they are strictly admin types that push paper and not troops. The USAF equivalent of an Army First Sergeant is a SMSgt who is a Superintendent.
I'm a bit suspicious for the reasons I stated above, but primarily because he only has Basic Jump Wings. Really? He went through all of that other training and never earned his Senior or Master wings?

Less power than Facebook
That’s not saying much. Facebook app was the highest consumer of battery power on my iPhone by a LARGE margin. I deleted it and my battery life nearly doubled.
I dont use facebook much anyways. If i do i use it through web browser.

I’d rather pay Americans welfare then a foreign government. If I could only choose one, foreign has got to go. If I could choose both, they’d be both cut off. But I’m sure as heck not going to end domestic welfare before ending foreign welfare!

Besides saving billions in foreign aid, what will America lose if Israel didnt exist and how did America survive before Israel existed?
And what would America miss if you were not around? What would America miss if Canada was not around? What would America miss if Great Briton was not around? What would America miss if Australia was not around?
"Better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". Mark Twain.
America will lose the only democracy and the only ally we have in that entire area of the world.
The Government will find another way to piss it away.
Israel existed LONG before America
To bad you do not worry about the billions that thrown away of Fraud Waste and Abuse every year. How Did America get along without Over Bloated Government.

Funny how you vilify President Obama for using legal precedent set by President Bush. It’s been long established, unfortunately, that presidents can act in a war capacity without congressional approval. Until we set our foot down as a nation and reclaim powers to the people, well always have outlet own version of tyranny.

Im sorry i like technology but not with my gun. I want to know it will fire 100% of the time without hesitation. 99% isn’t enough for me.

Unless they post this on all public entrances, in most states, a general statement is not enough to prevent me from conceal carrying. If I open carry and an employee asks me to leave, I’ll go.
Panero break hear in Tennessee is so crowded I won’t ever go there anyways. Now that they are anti-gun, it’d make a great fish in a barrel opportunity for some lunatic.
flimsy glass doors are not much of a barrier to a fast moving car driven by a determined lunatic intent on harming others...so a having a gun free zone is not the panacea you might want it to be...this is why i stay away from crowds and large gatherings...
