And he would note what kind of velocity he is maintaining, and how his control is. Then make his decision based on facts. Actually you are wrong. No company private or not can discriminate against anyone because of their faith.
anti-discrimination laws are bad law. In a free country, you should have the right to discriminate without repercussion from the government. Repercussion from the market however, is a whole different story, and any business person would be wise to pay attention to the market.
But that’s not all to his claim. Is size a protected class in AZ? When he showed up for the job interview, was he dressed like he was in the TV interview? If he is a great software engineer, does that mean he possesses the skill to fake the comment in question?
I say if a company likes your skills but due to the fact you are a complete lard arse, rendering you a health risk, thus costing the company more, I say they should have that right. It’s one thing to have a disability that is by no means your fault it’s another to be so fat you have become a hire risk. The faith part is sketchy but I guess it should not preclude anyone provided the faith does not interfere with daily tasks.
Company's are people too and have right protected by the Constitution. Company's have the right of free speech, religion, and freedom of association. Do you work for the Foundation for Freedom from Disassociation? That's a joke. It doesn't and shouldn't exist much like the Freedom From Religion Foundation. If you have true freedom of association then it's assumed you have the freedom of disassociation. But progressives (of communism) will argue the opposite which is to oppose freedom. So it begs the question, do you stand for freedom? Or don't you?
We can pro-actively support equality and still be for freedom and the Constitution. We can use legislative power to protect people of different backgrounds from discrimination by the federal government. I believe it is okay for a privately owned business to discriminate however he or she wishes and still not infringing on anyone's rights. For example, it is not a 'right' that I shop at Wal-Mart. If I'm White and Wal-Mart said I couldn't shop there I would be free to take my money elsewhere. Their business would sink and their stock plummet. The government can not say the same because we have only 1 government that is sworn to protect our individual liberties. That being said, you have a right to tell everyone you know about any business that has discriminated against you for whatever reason and the market of ideas will take into consideration the claim as the courts will consider the validity if applicable.
