  • uhhh, it is posed as a question in the article – it is not a statement. also in the article it says multiple times we are not sure it is definitely the reason. why does the blaze need to cover their **** any more than that?

  • Bingo, we have a winner

  • “4. Conservatives assume a cozy relationship between this White House and the reporters who cover it. Wrong. Many reporters find Obama himself strangely fearful of talking with them and often aloof and cocky when he does. They find his staff needlessly stingy with information and thin-skinned about any tough coverage. He gets more-favorable-than-not coverage because many staffers are fearful of talking to reporters, even anonymously, and some reporters inevitably worry access or the chance of a presidential interview will decrease if they get in the face of this White House. [Emphasis added”

This one cracks me up. First of all, Obama has always been arrogant, condescending, thin-skinned. Its just the press let this go because he was liberal and so were they.

Then, to the last line or 2, this is the media’s own fault for slobbering over him in the first place.

This really sounds to me like the press is trying to get some sympathy but got news for them they arent pulling the wool over our eyes. As others have said they will resume their boot-licking of the administration soon.

  • In his post game remarks, he never said guns were the problem. I am disappointed to see so many folks on this site jumping down his throat. He’s not some dumb lib like we are used to dealing with.

  • Talk about great parenting, so after this incident happens the kid comes back out while the interview takes place. I think that alone should be grounds to have the kids taken from the parents and the parents and kid should be doing community service work for a long long time at minimum.

  • Here is what bothers me regarding celebrities, etc that use on air time to spout their personal views, then complain about backlash. It is about how they shape the message. And, if you listen to the Dan Patrick interview, you get the same sense from Costas as the original comments. He believes his views are better than everyone else’s. it is the elitist attitude of these individuals. They have the microphone, they have the forum, therefore in their mind they are smarter than you. It is their condescending bull crap. Hence the cracks he makes about “i guess the 2nd amendment is more important than free speech” and ‘the gun culture and lobby’.

  • Mr Costas, here is my question for you. Since you had the smart-Alec comment ‘i guess some people care more about the 2nd amendment than free speech’ in regards to people saying he should be fired -what does free speech cover? He doesn’t appear to understand the amendments at all. Free speech does NOT allow you to say whatever you want at your job without a fear of being fired. I am pretty sure my manager would fire me if I went on a rant about him or the company and there’s nothing legal to stop that. He is also too stupid to realize with his position on guns he is infringing on everyone elses 2nd amendment rights to bear any kind of weapon – it’s not for only certain purposes or type of weapons.

  • Kryptonite – this is America not Iran. Zimmerman doesn’t have to ‘prove he is innocent’. The way it works here is the prosecution has to prove BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that Martin posed no threat and Zimmerman brutally murdered him, not in self defense.

  • Talk about spiking the football. Nice use of taxpayer dollars in an election year. Flying to the middle east. Doing a national address (if CNN is right). And oh denying he did the trip, like we weren’t going to find out. I guess it’s just us little people sit back and find out when the government (mommy and daddy) is ready for us to. Oh and just happens to be occupy wall streets big day so he can deny any involvement. How precious.

  • The couple caught the ball they can do with it what they want. But for those saying the kid is goin to be an occupy type person because he wants the ball, and at the same time not criticizing the couple for ‘demanding’ an apology are a little out of touch. They got the ball, they should just be happy. No reason to be so thin skinned or care what an announcer says
