  Ummm… guys?

  The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter took pictures, from lunar orbit, of every Apollo landing site except Apollo 14 in 2009. Not only can you see the ascent frame remains and the flags, but you can actually make out the trails of the footprints on the lunar surface, in exactly the right places. This is SO not an issue.
