No Spin Zone? O’Reilly Asks Romney if Obama Is ‘a Socialist’ & He Says…

Macpappy,
First, we said “the Creator,” we did not assign what form the Creator must take. Second, the founders most certainly did rest our rights in the Creator. This is a “self-evident” FACT, as read in the Declaration of Independence. This is why the founders declared our rights to be inalienable. If you rest the security of your rights in government, then they are NOT inalienable and can be changed, trampled or denied at the whim of government – as has been happening in our country now. We believe this misunderstanding is caused by the loss of our understanding of this subject. Our founders held a Lockian view of Natural Rights, Natural Law and the Social Contract. This keeps our rights safe and provides us with the JUST right to reclaim them should government become tyrannical. You are advocating a position that is more in line with Hobbs, which does NOT secure your rights nor provide you any JUST claim against government if it becomes tyrannical. This is why we believe our e-book IS relevant. We are trying to re-unite the Declaration with the Constitution as they were NEVER meant to stand alone. If America does not understand this issue, we can argue the Constitution until we are blue in the face, but we will not get to where we want to go. The Constitution is just a map, the ideals and principles of the Declaration are our destination.
Respectfully offered for your consideration.
Could Your Facebook Friends Actually Affect Your Credit?
December 19, 2011 at 5:26pm
Calculating risk based on anything but the individual’s personal behavior is akin to “holding the children guilty of the father’s crime,” something our founders rejected outright. It is also a violation of Natural Rights and Natural Law. What if the person is a priest or social worker and has accepted the people they serve as their Facebook friends?
This story reflects just one more symptom of a society that has lost its moral compass.
‘The Taliban, Per Se, Is Not Our Enemy’: VP Biden’s Jaw-Dropping Gaffe
December 19, 2011 at 3:14pm
As hard as it is for us to understand why people like Mr. O’Reilly can’t understand Ron Paul’s real position on foreign policy matters when Rep. Paul has written a book which clearly explains his position, it is even harder for us to understand how the VP of the United States could make such a claim as this. If anyone wants to make a Chamberlain analogy, THIS is a case where it can be appropriately applied.
Mr. VP, might we remind you that it does not matter whether you or President Obama think the Taliban is our enemy, THE TALIBAN has said it is our enemy. Take people at their word, Mr. VP – especially when they are telling you they plan to kill you (this goes for you, too, Rep. Paul).
We do not understand how we will save the republic when no one can even accept a simple truth.

Bill O’Reilly Blasts Ron Paul’s Stance on Iran: ‘His Foreign Policy Disqualifies Him’
December 19, 2011 at 1:22pm
To be honest, we believe the U.S. would be better served is we pulled out of the majority of the foreign nations where we currently have permanent military bases. If self-defense is our goal, what would we have to worry about if the Air Force were back on U.S. soil and the Navy’s carrier groups were patrolling the approaches to our shores.
HOWEVER, if the true goal IS to extend military and political power to whatever part of the world we deem fit to go, then how are we any different from England at the time we declared our independence? Don’t Jefferson’s words on this issue mean anything to us anymore?
“Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations — entangling alliances with none.”
~ Thomas Jefferson
I mean, given his book on Pres. Lincoln, we would think Mr. O’Reilly would have been aware of these words:
“The principles of Jefferson are the axioms of a free society.”
~ Abraham Lincoln
PLEASE, let’s just make sure we understand what we really say we believe before we commit the nation to it:

Bill O’Reilly Blasts Ron Paul’s Stance on Iran: ‘His Foreign Policy Disqualifies Him’
December 19, 2011 at 1:14pm
We agree with Mr. O’Reilly: Rep. Paul’s foreign policy toward Iran is something that should cause a voter to reconsider voting for Re. Paul. However, whether through deliberate deception or through ignorance, Mr. O’Reilly has misstated Re. Paul’s position toward Iran. Paul has NOT said he wants to be friends with Iran, not has he said he would seek peace at the expense of U.S. defense as Chamberlain did to England. Paul’s position is that we have no legitimate national interest in this area of the world, so we shouldn’t be acting as an aggressor in the affairs of other nations.
Now, you may disagree with some of Rep. Paul’s argument – we do – but we owe it to Paul and ourselves to do so honestly, and based on his real position, not a straw man argument we shove in his mouth. Rep. Paul has made no secret about his position regarding other nations, he clearly argued his case in his book, “Defining Liberty.” So there is no excuse for Mr. O’Reilly or Mr. Limbaugh to be getting things so wrong – especially for two men who claim to be looking out for us.
50 Facts About The U.S. Economy That Will Shock You
December 19, 2011 at 8:57am
We can’t help but notice that the House of Representatives – the house where ALL spending bills must originate – has been in Republican hands for nearly 1/3 of Obama’s tenure, and yet, we have STILL amassed debt at roughly the same rate since the Republicans took over. From our perspective, this would suggest the perceived focus on Obama in this piece is slightly off target. We think the spending is a Washington/government problem, not an individual/Party problem. And it all comes from a loss of our social moral compass. We explain this and more in our e-book. Please consider giving it a read, it will make stories like this so much easier to understand:

Gingrich Blasts ‘Increasingly Arrogant Judiciary,’ Would Consider Sending Capitol Police to Arrest Activist Judges
December 18, 2011 at 7:45pm
As attractive as many may think this idea sounds, we hope everyone will realize this would be a violation of the Social Contract that is our Constitution. This is NOT how the Constitution provides for us to deal with such situations: we have the vote and impeachment – not tyranny.
Please notice that Mr. Gingrich is advocating the same thing that former PROGRESSIVE Presidents have actually done. Given how many times Mr. Gingrich has declared himself a Progressive through his own words and actions, we have no explanation as to why he has so much support from people who would otherwise be standing in opposition to his policies. Is the desire to elect “Anybody But Obama” (ABO) so strong that we are willing to become the very thing we claim to oppose? If so, then the republic is already lost:

“We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We’ve staked the future of all our political institutions upon our capacity…to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.”

Are they so desperate for ratings that they’ve finally had to turn to God for help?
