  crikey maate,… us downunder had a moment where some neigbours murdered a heap of Civillian Aussie CITIZENS and said, “let’s not make a fuss”… though many of us are still bitter about it and still wonder does our government represent us or them? then later there was 9/11, Bali etc… now Bhengazi but let’s not discuss that. It offends sensibilities, you know.

  I watched this story on “Good Morning America”, (which is shown on Australian – me live in Western Australia) free-to-air channels in early hours of morning before the various local channels morning ‘news’ shows which are all, of course, styled on the Today/GMA shows etc. GMA had a lengthy discussion/interview with the Deadspin reporter [forgotten his name] whom gave account of carrying out a thorough investigation into this Manti Te’o’s dead girlfriend (story). At the end of this GMA interview, presenter George Stephanopopopolous exclaims, “What a story!”

  I don’t wish to be cynical, or come across as Alex Jones-conspiracy-crazy (though I don’t mind a good conspiracy yarn once-in-a-while), but given the recent news story of Sandy Hook which was then quickly followed up with various Youtube presentations of claims of suspect characters and events such as actors portraying parents, attitude of Medical Examiner at press conference, gun in boot of car, police chasing a person running away from school into woods, etc – now, with regard to this man police chased into the woods (near school) it made one wonder why the media didn’t give such a ‘thorough investigation’ and identify who this individual was. Thought that this unidentified person was worthy of a thorough media investigation (like this dead girlfriend hoax) – it’s as if he…. didn’t exist.

  Interesting that in recent times there are occasional reminders regarding Noah’s Ark, such as Ron Wyatt’s claims of discovery and others, since. Some of these may be true and others are proven false. People here can argue all they want as to it being myth/legend; location; Gilgamesh/Moses accounts; localized or global flooding etc ad nauseum.
  Noah’s ark served not only as a reminder of a prophetic event which would occur in Noah’s time, but the record of the Ark serves as prophetic reminder of things to come.
  Take heed that no man deceive you.

  Here, there, and everywhere.
  Nothing new under the sun. However, it’s difficult to not see that Isaiah Ch.19 is happening before one’s eyes.

  My cousin is married to a woman of whom family are Egyptian Coptic Orthodox. Can only pray for the poor people of Egypt.
  Personally, I feel blessed to be born and live in Australia (I realize that one’s views expressed – regarding USA or wherever – may be considered to be irrelevant to some on here as I am not in the USA or wherever – still, a citizen of the world who takes interest in what is happening. Plus, I do have relatives and friends in NY and elsewhere in the U.S. and it concerns me what is going on in their neck of the woods).

  Just now, discovered another news article (on another website, with video) alleging a young child decapitating a man/prisoner in Syria (with the usual “OUR god is greatER” chant). I refuse to watch the video myself (as I do not wish for those images to be burned into my mind – bad and sad enough just to read about it), but judging by the comments from other readers/viewers to the news article it appears to be true. What a mad world.
