I should say so. If I had kids there, they would be gone by now. None of my money would go to that rotten hellhole. I bet a lot of parents who do have kids there are feeling the same way, at least I hope so.

Well, actually, I don’t intend to see the movie for just that reason.

Does evil always have to prevail? It seems it does. I am really scared.
Evil prevails because us good people are doing nothing. Sadly.
Suddenly senior I feel your pain. I wish we could win one too. Always loved the movies where the good guys win. I survive by a this thought: the evil ones get to see Jesus, and the Glory of Heaven for 60 seconds then banished to the fire, while Ty Woods and those other good guys are in the life of eternal bliss. Justice is not here but in the end......
The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear. :-)

The Dems always seem to come out on top. I wish, just this once, we would win one.
Did the killer have an medical diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome, or is the father just running off at the mouth? (“Asperger-like symptoms”! What the heck does that mean?) It concerns me that, because of loose talk, the public will begin to fear persons with autism making their lives even more difficult that they already are. I have an autistic 17 year-old grandson, who is nothing but good. Nobody need ever be afraid of him.
Suddenly, I have to agree with you. I've known people with Asperger's and full-blown autism, They normally are more of a danger to themselves and just want to be left alone. They aren't violent or hateful toward others. The whole "Asperger-like" mishegas that the father is yapping about is merely an excuse for his kid's behavior. The kid had two specific intentions - become famous and kill Christians. He acted on both. And neither have anything to do with autism.
This is all the Gov. washing of the facts. He was a Muslim killer who hated whites. Do you think Obama wants to hear that. Out come the Propaganda workers to make it seem he was white supremacist.

Being a Christian doesn’t win anyone votes.
 October 2, 2015 at 11:39pm
Dr. Carson’s actions don’t look ugly to me. In fact they look beautiful. He’s not pandering for votes, he’s showing solidarity with the innocent souls killed because they confessed their faith. In many places, he would be killed in some horrible way for holding up that sign.
Of course they don't look ugly to YOU suddenlysenior because you agree with them.
Do you agree with efforts to ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING to lesson the chance of yet another one of these mass shooting from happening?
Because simply professing one is a Christian does NOTHING to help stop these things from happening again. And THAT is what America needs. A leader who will do more than profess his/her religious faith and actually seek to DO SOMETHING that might help lesson the chance of such a shooting from happening again.
Want to do more than JUST SHOW "solidarity with the innocent souls killed" - ???
Well then DO SOMETHING. Don't just profess your god/religious faith.
"In many places, he would be killed in some horrible way for holding up that sign."
But almost certainly NOT in this country and almost certainly in MANY MORE - if not MOST places around the world - he would NOT be killed (in any way) for holding up that sign.
I think Carson would be the first to agree with you. Possibly he feels in his role he has an opportunity to encourage just that, be setting an example.
And because of his pronouncement he will lose some votes. He is a target for violence - that's why he gets a SS detail. He just painted a bigger target on his back for some. I like the man, and I like his statement - he's not been coy or reluctant, so this is just an affirmation of all he has ever presented himself to be - a Christian.

Zappa, All these things are true:
“Obama will not release his academic records that would show how he identified himself. After leaving the Muslim nation, Obama’s mentor was a card carrying communist who despised America. As an adult Obama attended a church whose pastor publicly claimed that he despised America, for 20 years. Look at who has benefited from Obama’s destructive foreign policy.”

They are both followers of Christ.

The meeting was held in secret because the Pope is a guest of Obama, and the Pope knows where Obama stands. Obama was running this show as demonstrated by the unsuitable people he invited to welcome the Pope. Obama would have preferred there not to be a meeting between the Pope and Davis. Maybe it was a small act of defiance on the Pope’s part to do so. If that is true, good for him.

Obama invited Williamson, Robinson, and Campbell to meet with the Pope (which was a rude, in your face thing to do to a guest?) The Pope most likely didn’t choose to meet with them, and Obama was trying to use him to make a political points. Why else? I am guessing that Obama would not have wanted the Pope to meet with Davis, or he would have invited her as well as that parade of freaks. Perhaps it was the Pope’s own idea to meet with Davis.
Maybe there is a message in it, and maybe there isn’t. Maybe the Pope just wanted to talk with her.

… Jesus broke other sorts of laws. Jesus’ action in the Temple was almost certainly a violation of civil law. For Jesus to be crucified, he had to be arrested and convicted of something. We may quibble over the justice of his sentencing, but the conviction held up in the highest court available to Jesus. The arrest and crucifixion of Jesus should, at the very least, tell us that sometimes the courts condemn blameless men. ~ Mark Van Steenwyk

Nobody can afford a lawyer.

“I don’t think “cowardice” is the right word. “Apathy” or ignorance” are better choices.

“…because they go against the trendy immorality of the day.”
Too bad this pope also thinks that Christ's victory on he cross is actually a failure...basically saying he is not a Christian or that Christianity doesn't exist.

Not to belabor this obvious point, but many American children are just one abortion away from death. Maybe he should address that “moral outrage.”
 September 22, 2015 at 11:52pm
Many an America housewife in days-gone-by killed a chicken for Sunday dinner by twisting it’s head off in this fashion. I’m really, really glad I never had to do such a thing, but I’ve seen it done. It was all I could do as a bride to cut up a raw chicken without gagging.
I just wish these protesters were as concerned about babies as they are about chickens.
 September 22, 2015 at 7:59pm
I don’t believe Obama acts like any kind of Christian.
