  You are ridiculous. real conservatives don’t tell people what to do. The “real” conservative solution here is deregulate all this stuff, including prostitution, firearm ownership and firearm carry, drugs, shipping of alcohol etc… and ALSO get the federal government’s mitts off the taxing and penalty power to fund rehabs and whatnot. You make personal choices, they affect you and your family, and you pay for them. That’s freedom, that isn’t weak, its responsible. If i want to own a brothel that has a gun range and bar serving alcohol, marijuana and coke, then so be it, if people don’t want it I’ll fail and go bankrupt. If you don’t want it then don’t go there, but don’t impose your self-asserted moral superiority to me.

  @Brotherwill, an american terrier is actually a completely separate breed, specific to AKC registrations. The problem with people like you is any dog that is in the news for a bad reason must somehow become a “pitbull”. Even if it is a mix, it must be the “pitbull” part of that makes it dangerous. Like most everything else, stupid, ignorant dog owners can make any dog unbalanced by being lazy and not getting the dog proper exercise and care. We run marathons and our dogs, American Pit Bull Terriers (two of them, that don’t fight and love kids btw) go with us. Our smaller female has been attacked by people in our neighborhood who think it is okay to let their mean golden retriever run loose simply because it is a golden retriever. Just because a dog is small, its not cute to let it be aggressive to people, same goes for classic breeds like goldens and labs, you can’t assume all is well because of the breed, owning any dog takes responsibility. Any unfortunate event is due solely to the owner and they should be fully responsible. Ban dumb people from owning dogs, leave our good dogs alone.

  Only thing racist in this segment is Costa’s linking Gabby to African-Americans only. I’m sure blacks of non-African origin as well as girls of every other race in America would be inspired by her also. The monkey segment is from a male sport, and its cute.

  Its funny everyone thinks this is so awesome, and you all want to “stop shop lifters” and petty thieves. But no one puts any effort into throwing these executives and representatives in jail who disrupted the entire economy and “fluctuate” our retirement and investments into the toilet, or congress members who engage in insider trading (Pelosi, Boehner), who restrict 2nd amendment rights but own “assault” weapons (Feinstein), or go to war without declaration (All “war time” Presidents and Congress since WWII), behavior modification through taxes (no real fight for flat tax or allowing states to pickup more responsibility)… but yeah, a lady’s cell phone or beer from the local store, that’s important….

  If you eat chicken and beef, you’re a hypocrite. If you buy cheap crap from China, India, Taiwan etc.. you’re a hypocrite. You supposedly have morals when there’s a shred of entertainment and history to events causing an animals death, but you don’t seem to mind genetically altered chickens without feet, or stuffing them in cages never to see the ground, cattle pumped up with hormones who are raised and slaughtered for productivity without regard for much humaneness. Are you okay with hunting dogs going after hogs, birds, or varmints? If so, you’re okay with dogs going after other animals just not each other… hypocrite again… what about horse racing, dog racing? At least try and be consistent with your “moral” stances.

  Spain is awesome, awesome wine from tempranillo, raging bulls, tons of beautiful women and Portugal is nearby with stronger booze. Sex, alcohol, crazy fun with ridiculous dangerous animals, oh, and free drugs laws… ahh, freedom is grande. If only they could figure out the fiscal part of it, would be so great… meanwhile, in other news, America still doesn’t allow free shipping of wine (free the grapes!), criminalizes sex workers (free market, supply/demand, hello?), outlaw cockfighting but allow billions of chickens to be mutilated and never set foot on the ground each year, and whose tax code is one giant behavior modification tool (marriage, babies, school, home ownership… leave me alone already). People just can’t leave other people alone, let them make choices (stupid or smart) and live with the consequences. Apparently that is too hard. In the meantime, go to Spain, enjoy the bulls.

  Great, now how about incest marriages? The idea that is wrong is from a presupposition that marriages lead to children and genetic defaults can come from generations of inbreeding. Well, gay couples can’t naturally produce kids, so if the norm is changing to what makes people happy and children don’t have anything to do with it… why can’t brothers, sisters, cousins etc… get married? Maybe they don’t want kids…

  Too bad it isn’t about who you love, its about taxes and estate planning. If was about who you loved, then he would be equally fine with polygamist marriages and would open the tax code to include benefits regardless of number of spouses. You can’t change what marriage is without losing what it currently stands for completely. It is either a religious institution between one man and one women, it is just what society calls legal sexual relationships between consenting adults. Notice how polygamists fit into the latter.
