Hopefully it won’t be full of dead babies like were found in a different home.

I have seen several Baptisms recently….all were photographed as a memento to remember and remind. Guess that is wrong huh?

For an article that started out as a scene of baptism to an argument of ‘my Scripture over your Scripture” is amazing. One said a bad example for their kids. This comedy can show your kids: Invention turned into business. Business is successful while family remains true to their faith. Business didn’t re form into a money grubbing mold of “affluenza.” The family quickly forgives insult and argument and always return to their family never forgetting to give thanks to Jesus. Sounds like a prescription for a role model for sure. Seems some would rather see a role model of self indulgence of booze, sex, drugs, money and debauchery to show their children. How sad that is.

Habana: THAT is absolute DRIVEL. but then, so is JoeMN….I am a Catholic. I do NOT worship Mary. I may enjoy a likeness of her to remind me what it must have been like for her. I know there is NO way I would have been chosen and NO way I could have nurtured that Child and saw to his education at home AND in the Synogue and watched that horrific suffering and death. She was indeed a very special believer in God and in His Son. She makes the best role model. I know you hate visual aids to help recall and try to understand what it was like to have KNOWN HIM better than anyone and Loved Him better than anyone and watched His body shredded and pierced followed by death. You might give that some thought sometime. There were no photographs in those days. Very talented artists renderings are all we have to help us try to picture those people in those days. Some are beautifully done.

The only way she took part in ‘the redemption belief’ is when she said YES to God’s message from Gabriel. That Redemptor grew in her womb and she nurtured and taught Him well. Luke tells us Gabriel told her: Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb. But you are free to disagree. We WERE given free will.

…and that Rock was Christ.” are you sure you didn’t mean, represents Christ? or Maybe…in memory of Christ? ALL the early Churches believed in the ‘Real Presence”. That of course changed with the ‘diversity gurus’ who branched off to start their own denominations.

and here in the ‘Faith’ section….what that means is lets all attack our brothers and sisters in Christ. Never seen so many absolute know-it-alls spew so much misinformation. This Country has turned its back on God and His Word and what we stood for. Wouldn’t it be grand if all Christians joined hands in prayer of repentance and renewal?

are you speaking of traditions or Traditions? The first is man made the latter is what was taught by the disciples in emulation of their actual walk with Jesus. Jesus followed the Traditions of his Jewish faith. He welcomed the gentiles and they were called Christians. Nevertheless, Jesus was born a Jew and died a Jew. God will bless those who bless His people Israel. Our Country has turned its back on God and on the Jews. As in days of old, He has lifted his blessings from this Country. Only by repentance and turning from our evil ways where good is bad and bad is good and put God as our Constant Leader will we again gain God’s blessing. We are in a very very bad place now. Those who waste their time in separating believers into smaller and smaller groups each with their own doctrine, is just that. A WASTE. We must all bend our knees and repent and pray for each other in love rather than accusation. Worth a few moments of contemplation…..give thought to the story of the mote and the plank.

Catholics are not the only branch of Christianity that observe Lent. Time to reflect, renew, self discipline and hopefully overcoming bad habits while reading, studying and attending extra teachings and extra time in prayer. In other words….a personal Revival…Prepare for the biggest event in the life of a Christian…celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus and Grateful for what that means to each one of us.
Every time I enter a Church I am grateful that I can go to Church freely and have a pastor to freely teach and celebrate Jesus. It could disappear in a wink ya know.

As usual, its obama’s way or the highway. He is so talented in international affairs-NOT The man has no experience with balancing anything anywhere, Whether its money, taxes, rights, military, education, business or foreign affairs—–he is an empty chair. Unfortunately he has the POWER to push his own ideas while claiming he is doing what the American citizen wants…in all areas. All this, while he himself has NO affection for this Country. Anyone who doesn’t see how deep in doo doo America is now in, is completely out of touch with reality.

Yeah, like the fan base in the law AZ just shot down. It was very short and only dealt with not forcing anyone to go against their religious beliefs. LGBT groups stormed out of the woodwork from several states to make all kinds of farcical claims (not to mention, that a gay bar in CA can ban any official it learns has NOT supported gays). “do as we demand or we will ruin you”
Fan bases are interesting huh! For some reason, there will always be people with differing opinions. Some accept that, some make DEMANDS that the “differers” become one with them.

Didn’t I just read about an “African American” call another a ventriloquist’s dummy? Surely this is who they were talking about. !!!!(sarc)

But it is OK to compel tax paying Christians to pay for the sinful acts of others? It doesn’t deny anyone those services…it just doesn’t force believers to pay for it. Pay for it yourself.

“The killing of the innocent is never fulfilling God’s will. In fact, it’s the ultimate betrayal of God’s will.”
Don’t know how he assuages his morals when it comes to infanticide.

sounds like….kid went home…told parents she didn’t get to the part where the scripture was as the teacher her stopped her presentation. My guess, the parents are the ones who filled in the blanks and complained to what THEY believed happened even though they weren’t there.

You reminded of the time when was 9. We had to write a story. I did. Got an F on my story because I used a word the teacher believed I didn’t know what meant. The word was ominous. She asked me what that word meant…I replied…’dark and scary’. That’s what it meant to me anyway. She was convinced I didn’t write the story. BTW…to this day, I love creative writing. now, as a senior citizen, this remains in my memory bank quite clearly. I put a lot of work into that story. It was about martians landing.

It is what was called “debtors prison” in the old country. One of the reasons for coming to America in the first place.

One would think A&E would have realized what a cash cow they had. Instead they come out with new shows like the rodeo girls who can’t find their clothes. Even the almost decent shows like Storage Wars, they have to bust up the females. They honestly believe this is what the public wants. They can’t see clearly from where they are situated. Anyone who thinks TV is part of their sex life has a screw loose.

Did you find mention of Jesus declaring Peter to be the ‘rock’ on which he would build His Church? Do you know Jewish tradition (Jesus was born, lived and died a Jew) of the importance of the ‘chair’? The occupant of that chair? Worth a good study. Are you aware the Catholic Church traces its history back to Peter…not all good…but then again, even Peter faltered while living BESIDE Jesus. Jesus told us the gates of hell could not prevail against His Church. Those gates have most assuredly tried in the centuries since. Anyhoo, more study recommended.
