  Well, looks like MSHP has violated the trust of it’s citizens and I’m on another list. Thanks State! At least the only mental illness I suffered from in the past was being a career LEO.

  DOR told me they needed copies of the docs to “verify” residency. I grabbed the docs they wanted, scratched out account numbers, dollar amounts and any other personal info except my name and address and let them make their copies. At first they said they could not accept the docs until I showed them in their requirements that the docs were “only to verify my residence”. The office head came over and said I was right. Unfortunately, my name is somewhere in their files however, I am sure I’m on a lot of files and watch lists being a retired LEO in the state anyway.

  Precisely what I intended to do in my post but you beat me to it. guess I’ll have to include the words in my emails to friends about my coverup that nobody will find out about even though I’m already on the domestic terrorists watch list being a retired LEO. Guess I’ll head to the GUN ROOM for now.

  As a retired LEO I possess and still carry firearms. I was trusted by the people to carry a firearm while I did my job. I ran towards gunshots, not away from them. The only thing that has changed is now I get a pension check (not much either) instead of a paycheck. I will not turn in nor register any of the firearms I possess but realize some are already on the books somewhere within the ATF. Whether they are on the books or not, they will not be turned in, re-registered, nor will I be forced to buy a tax stamp.
  I believe, if the time comes when the government decides to confiscate firearms belonging to “The People”, most of those tasked with the job will refuse to obey those orders. Sure, there will be the zealots who will follow any orders given from on high, but I really believe the majority will not. The Military and Police swore an oath and if they think about it and remember the main item in that oath, The Constitution, they will refuse.
  Having said that, I pray the time never comes when someone, following orders, comes to my door. I know what I will be forced to do. Do you?

  I hope the outcome is for Romney. However, I have heard no one mention that all these polls only count “legal” votes. Has anyone heard a poll that thinks a little outside the box and considers the “illegal” votes, whether they be dead people, people voting more than once or even illegals (no offense meant here but, if you’re illegally in this country you are an illegal) voting? It could put Barry over the top. Just thinking here……….
