  • This woman, totally devoid of class, is incapable of putting aside her personal animosities for the sake of the country — even in the wake of her husband’s victory. Notwithstanding her education at Harvard, she is unfit for the role of First Lady. By contrast, Dolley Madison exerted her influence as First Lady to mend bridges between the parties and improve communication between enemies — at a time critical to the survival of the Republic.

Sorry, Michelle — you look like a spoiled teenager. You are an embarrassment to the United States.

  • What a pity that Obama’s concern about the safety of children does not extend to any of the unborn children murdered within, and even outside, their mothers’ wombs! Those aborted children will never have the opportunity to send the President a letter asking for his protection.

  • Georgetown alumni should be embarrassed that this left wing nut is teaching at their alma mater. They should withhold donations, at least to the law school, until Seidman is dismissed.

As for the merits of the professor’s argument — Holders of federal office take an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution. Any effort on their part to scuttle that marvelous instrument would amount to treason, irrespective of the elected officials’ political views.

  • Well said. Labels mean nothing; actions are what matter.

  • Rest in peace, dear little ones. May God help the grieving families through their unfathomable sorrow.

  • I don’t watch MSNBC, but from the clip shown here, I’m a bit confused. It seemed that the discussion was about welfare, and all of a sudden Sister Simone switched to the subject of Social Security, as if it were an entitlement program akin to welfare. Then Sister implied that S.E. begrudges Social Security recipients their benefits! First of all, S.E. does not consider Social Security the moral equivalent of welfare. Second, S.E. was not calling for elimination of the safety net. She simply pointed out that the dramatic expansion of welfare (by striking down the work requirement) not only has failed to reduce the rate of poverty but also has rendered that condition permanent through disincentive. This is a classic discussion between a liberal and a conservative. When confronted with truth and logic, the liberal response is either denial or an emotional, knee-jerk response — or both of these errors, as exhibited by Sister Simone. Sorry, Sister, but your arguments do not stand up to logical analysis. I am a lifelong Catholic who respects the work of religious sisters, but in this matter you are mistaken.

  • It’s amazing to me how liberal academics feel it necessary to warn students about “hate speech” by an invited guest — before he or she has even set foot on campus. McShane encouraged the whole Fordham community to pressure the College Republicans to cancel Coulter’s appearance My thinking is as follows: If the students think critically (as they should, by virtue of their training at Fordham!), they should have no trouble evaluating ANY speaker’s words for themselves. McShane cited recent racist incidents on campus; what have these to do with Coulter. I wonder? President McShane should read Demonic before accusing Ms. Coulter of appealing to “the darker side of our nature.” I suspect that McShane only knows her work through sound bites heard on MSNBC or other hopelessly biased networks. Her writing may indeed better reflect the values of the University than do McShane’s prejudicial comments. I’m sorry the College Republicans caved under pressure; they have lost a great opportunity to educate their fellow students — and faculty members. If I were an alumna of the University, I would withdraw my financial support from the school.

  • Geraldo is such a phony. I saw him kiss Charles Woods. The scene called to mind the kiss of Judas. Geraldo was making a patronizing effort to stifle Mr. Woods as he uttered his last words of the interview. Geraldo had been expecting to score easy points interviewing a confused, uninformed father who had just buried his heroic son — a non-controversial appeal to the emotions of viewers. Instead he found a knowledgeable man who had the temerity to question the unresponsive administration, whose actions and statements about Benghazi have been contradictory at best. If Geraldo doesn’t like the timing of the latest accusations, he can thank the President and his rogue gallery of surrogates for obfuscating the issues and evading questions for the past seven weeks. People have a right to question the President’s integrity, competence, and suitability to serve as Commander-in-Chief -BEFORE this election, Geraldo. Get a grip, man — Maybe you need some professional help!

  • Please don’t leave the country. Instead, pray for the United States, the survival of its Constitution. and the defeat of all its enemies, foreign and domestic.

  • Prayer is the answer. Everyone, please pray for Mary’s intecession for our country. Jesus never says no when His mother asks for a favor. If you’ve never prayed before, please do so now, on your knees. God bless and save the United States of America.
