  LOL Ive worked as a server and bartender since I was 18 and it has paid for 2 undergraduate degrees and am now completing my masters degree. During this time I also managed and trained employees, it is very difficult to get great employees who really give a **** for 2.15/h here in TX. That tends to be a huge part of the reason that people experience such ****** service on a regular basis. That does not however mean give you the excuse of being a ****** customer as so many choose to be and as many of the people who have commented on this post proudly admit to being.
  TIPS means To (I)Ensure Proper Service, meaning if the person does a great job and exceeds your expectations and needs as a customer, it is proper and polite to reciprocate.
  ALSO, Never in my life has an athiest handed me a booklet about athiesm instead of a tip, only “Christians” felt the need to repay good service with verbal tips and religious literature. BUT this is America, and I support your religious beliefs 100% even though I do not share them, please leave them the hell out of your dining experience. The comment above about sunday tippers is unfortunately true most of the time, let alone if they are “urban”, you know youre working for free for that table.
  Bottom line, ****** attitudes and not smiling should not earn you a good tip. To be a dumb ass and immortalize it on the internet is unfortunate and has consequences.
