  • …me, too. Thanks, Cher. I’ll be shopping at Macy’s now.

  • I think Cher is offensive, so…..
I really don’t care what a woman made out of plastic surgery thinks. I do feel sorry for her but have no respect for her.

Sorry folks – can’t help it! My GG, G, Grandfather and my daddy was Democrats and you just have to tow the party line. Guns don’t shoot without someone pulling the trigger. The guy just wanted to talk and even if he wanted sex – wouldn’t it have been better for her and her daughters to comply rather than shoot him – this is the 21st century.”

Are you so blind to the facts on rape that you do not know that many rapes, a horrific act in and of itself, end in the death of the victim? Are you deliberately flaming this article to get people upset?
Yes, this is the 21st century (something Joe Biden doesn’t realize, by the way), and any man stupid enough to attempt rape should be dealt with severely. Thankfully, this woman and her daughters were saved thanks to the mother’s quick thinking and steady hand on the trigger.

  • Emanuel is right on one thing: “Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values.” Chicago could benefit from sharing some of the values of Biblical teachings. Instead, it had record murder rates, violent crime rates, robbery/theft rates….(http://www.neighborhoodscout.com/il/chicago/crime/). As of last month, 228 Chicago residents were murdered, in contrast to only 144 in Afghanistan, a war zone.

I will not be visiting Chicago for any personal vacations or professional business. When arranging air travel, I will make sure to route my flights through other airports. If the city leaders are going to be that antagonistic toward a business that simply states it supports traditional marriage and not allow it in, it won’t want the money from a traditionally married heterosexual couple.

CFA does not discriminate; apparently, Chicago does.

  • @DB321 – You are wrong on the Boy Scouts. Apparently you missed the news this week that they have reaffirmed the stance against gay leaders. The Girl Scouts, however, do embrace the LGTB movement.

  • Perhaps CFA should start offering fried frog legs on the menu?
Seriously, this is a restaurant that took a stance in support of traditional marriage. It didn’t condemn anything, just supported. For that it is mocked and boycotted? I will eat there more now, and I am not going to be lectured to by some green frog with someone’s hand up his green frog rear. Bye bye, Kermie. And Miss Piggy, we’ll be having pork chops tonight.

  • Both my grandfathers, with their wives by their sides, built their own businesses from the ground up. The government did nothing to help them and in some cases tried to hinder their efforts due to local politics. I am sick and tired of do-nothings like community organizers who have never built anything in their lives running down those who go out and take a risk to build a company and provide goods and services to the community. My maternal grandfather kept his business going during the Depression and during WW II and brought family members from another state out so they could work for him. They couldn’t find work at home, but Grandpa brought them out to live with him and paid them to work. My father was a little boy running the cash register in my paternal grandfather’s store, and the whole family worked to make it a success. Nobody gave them anything; they earned it.

  • I’m not going to waste a Google search to find out who this foul-mouthed woman with the bad Botox job is. Her opinion means nothing to me, though I doubt she will lose sleep over that fact. If she is representative of the best Hollywood has to offer (being an award winner and all that), then Hollywood is in worse shape than I thought.

  • Someone watches MSNBC? At least only a few people heard these stupid comments. Hayes, Goldberg, and McWhorter’s opinions aren’t worthy of newstime.

  • @JZS – N0, Deacon1 is not lying. The view that the handicapped or challenged are a drain on society has been voiced many times by Liberals who state that they should have been aborted and that putting them to sleep would be more “humane” than taking care of them. I’ve heard it, I’ve read it, and I am angry about it.
