We didn’t kill their oil profits…..they killed them all by themselves. First they seized the oil companies, driving out all the foreign professional expertise. Then they started giving the oil away for free to Cuba, Bolivia and Ecuador because of their elected socialist governments. Then their home grown “competent” oil engineers left for the opportunity to develop the fledgling oil industry in Colombia leaving them with no one but incompetent political appointees to run their oil industry into the ground which they have done an excellent job of.
Hope they find that she singled out individual taxpayer’s for audit based on information coerced out of the Tea Party Records.

I don’t know what yesterday’s percentages were but the general rule is that in a runoff 75 to 80 % of those who didn’t vote for the incumbant the first time vote with the leading challenger in the runoff. What that usually means for incumbents is that if they received less than 45 % the first time they are toast in the runoff. If they had more than 46 % the first time they will probably be reelected.

Big surprise….By their own definitions Zimmerman who was 1/2 Hispanic, 1/4 Black and 1/4 Jewish was probably the more likely to be having his Civil Rights violated…

The State Department has continually green lighted the pipeline. I guess Obama thinks that now that “Lurch” is there it can be another roadblock.

I agree with you about Steyer.
Buffett has repeatedly said he favors the Keystone Pipeline pointing out that it is a much safer way to move oil than the railroad. (Disclosure) I own Berkshire Hathaway Stock in my sheltered portfolio..

His deal is with a California billionaire who opposes the development of the Canadian Tar Sands Oil. “Quid pro quo”(?) ….Assured funding of Obama’s projected $ 35 million retirement villa by the sea in Hawaii.

Where she lives the landlord has negotiated a basic individual bare bones cable rate for its tenants. It is up to Comcast to get the individual client tenants to upgrade their service to the pricey cable revenue the rest of us pay.

Most utilities including cable companies use “lockbox” third party vendors to process their bills. The lockbox workers are only concerned about making sure the check is credited to the proper account. It is less of a hassle for the local cable manager to refund the customer’s money (especially after the local TV Consumer Watchdog shows up) than to mess with the lockbox system which can be reconciled at a regular scheduled date.

“Book of Mormon” has nothing to do with LDS. It is a highly entertaining Broadway musical which “spoofs” the Mormon Church. There are complaints that it is overly obscene. It is written by the same people who gave us the cable show “South Park”..

Saranda…Smoky is making a personal attack on Brandy Clark who it turns out is an out of the closet lesbian.
I bought her album “12 Stories” about 8 months ago. It is the best album I have heard in years.
I wasn’t aware that she was gay until recently but evidently she was shunned at the country music awards because of it.
Her performance with Dwight Yoakum accompanying her was fabulous.
She was nominated for two awards Best New Artist and Album of the Year. She lost out in the best new artist category to Stan Smith, another gay.

Cosmos2….You are correct in noting that I didn’t establish that. During the Bush Administration it was a well known fact that the three largest contributors to left wing causes were the Owner/CEOs of Progressive Insurance, Nationwide Insurance and George Soros. Soros by the way felt that the two Insurance guys were too liberal for him.

Ultimately you can’t trust them because Jordan is the defacto homeland of the Palestinians and eventually they will rise up and throw the pro Western government out.

All you really need to know about the Progs who run Nationwide. After Hurricane Katrina they employed the legal strategy of automatically rejecting any and all claims. They had to be dragged kicking and screaming into court for simple wind damage claims that occurred 60 miles inland from the Gulf Coast forcing all of their customers to hire attorneys.
Years ago, we had Nationwide in Central FL. We FINALLY after all of those years, had ONE claim where someone stole some stuff from us. Nationwide paid the claim and immediately cancelled our insurance. Screw Nationwide. They are NOT on our side.
