  Rather than calling for fiscal responsibility at all levels of government, 17 Republicans voted for yet another transfer of wealth from the people to the government.

  At least the vote helps draw a bright line between the Republican LEADERS and the RHINOS.

  Within the Constitution, where does it say the citizens must “justify” a right before exercising it? Does the accused have to explain why they’re entitled to a speedy trial? Must the press justify its rights prior to publishing something? Why is the right to bear arms any different?

  So, when a labor union refuses buy office supplies from a non-union business, are they not exercising their right of free association?

  This student elected to use her “rights” as a platform to launch an attack on Christians. Yet, they claim it’s “discrimination” when folks elect to exercise the very same rights not to associate with them.

  15 years before anti-Semitism and eugenics became official state policy, Adolf Hitler wrote: “The personification of the devil as the symbol of all evil assumes the living shape of the Jew.”

  At first folks dismissed Hitler as a political wannabe, then when he came to power, the “intellectuals” on both sides of the Atlantic invented reasons to ignore the guy’s own writings. He was even praised as the “George Washington of Germany” by a former head of state!

  Today in the U.S. we’re quick to dismiss threats to annihilate Israel, we send money and weapons to those who make no secret of their anti-Semitism, and we even place anti-Semites in high office.

  Oh how little we’ve learned from history!
