This is what the democratic voters in NJ chose. They keep voting in the idiots who make these laws and then wonder why crime goes up. As someone said before “Gun free equals Crime rise”.

I lived in Oregon at the time and remember it well. It was a 747 and in order to get it back in the air, a crew from Boeing had to come down and fly it to PDX (Portland). The loaded enough fuel on it to get to Portland(with a little extra) and moved the plane so it’s tail stuck out over I-80. They closed the Interstate and the pilot took off in 1/2 the runway. A 747 will do a sharp angle rotate with no one aboard and minimum fuel! What a great airplane Boeing developed.

So Betty, why are you here promoting this instead of working for buzz28? I would think you would probably make more there than here. Seems to me it is never anyone you know personally, always about three people removed from the poster.

It isn’t just the 8,000 jobs lost at the company, it is the ripple effect of all the ancillary jobs that were lost at other places. These were the places where people worked that did business with DHL and the people that worked there and also all the other businesses that depended on the people who worked at DHL to keep them going. It isn’t just the main company, it is the support of the workers for the other businesses.

Remember what George Carlin said (I paraphrase) “If you spit in the Subway you get a fine, but if you throw up it’s free! So next time you want to spit, just throw up”.

When I traveled for work (Which was a lot!), I sometimes met people like this. My response to them was “Go by air when you have time to spare.” In other words, don’t expect the airline to go by your schedule. Just because you didn’t plan ahead is no problem of the airline or the Flight Attendants.

Had T-mobile until last month. Both my Wife and I were on a plan from a legacy company they bought and that plan charge carried on for 5 years. There was no contract, but the service was terrible and the dropout rate was unacceptable and for this we paid around $60 a month ($720 a year!). We ported our phone numbers over to Tracfone and the drop out rate is “0″. Only use the phone for emergencies and got phones from Amazon for $15 each with triple minutes. Bought a 1 Year card for $100 and got 1500 minutes and 415 days. For my wife I got her a 90 day card with 600 minutes for $50. Oh and by the way, the minutes carry over, so as time goes by I can cut down the minutes I buy and still have plenty left over. Cut my cell phone bill by almost 60%. The phones are LG800g’s and has all the bells and whistles except GPS! Love that they can’t find me.

Our Grandson is 5 years old, but is as tall as an 8 year old. Our Daughter got the same message sent home that he was overweight. This kid is no where near overweight and the Nurse at his Doctor’s office said to ignore it as the BMI is not accurate at all.

The questions for the final Jeopardy are chosen randomly and no one knew this kid was a Lincoln scholar when he was chosen for the show. Alex explained that at the end of the show. Also for those who thought the spelling error should have been overlooked, the rules state that spelling the answer wrong on Final Jeopardy is not allowed. He wouldn’t have won anyway. Congratulations Skyler!

He and his family have been threatened by numerous “haters”. If I were him, I would have a gun also. After all, he was acquitted of the charges and has the right to own a firearm. Did you read the article that stated it was in the Glove Compartment and not on his person? In Texas it is perfectly OK to own a gun if you meet the criteria. I love Texas and would live there if I hadn’t found Tennessee first.

Had that problem once when I was in SF on a job. Some idiot kept taking up two spaces in the lot so his precious mustang would not get scratched. Had my rental car and parked it within 2 inches of his car and got out. When I got back that afternoon for the job, he was standing there with a dumb look on his face and asked”Who could have done this?” I asked if he parked like that every day and I told him he was the inconsiderate one and then got in my car and drove off.

Looks to me he was speaking to the part of the electorate who cannot do math. All the want is free stuff and can’t figure out that the gravy train will end when the government runs out of money. Then what will they do for a job?

And yet there is not one word about the number of Blacks killing their own. This is genocide by any definition. Clean up your own backyard before you start preaching to others. Listen to Bill Cosby, Allen West, The Reverend Hutchinson, Etc.

Seeing that Chrissy is usually a little tipsy maybe they should rename the show “Highball”!

The Governent needs to get out of the Railroad Business! They need to do it similar to the way the British do.
The Govt owns the rails and the stations and rents out the rails and station access to different railroads. That way the Railway Company(Private Concern), has control over their rolling stock and pays the Government for use of the rails. It is common to see three or four different Railways using the same track, those that lose money are not subsidized by the govenment.

My wife and I toured in the Czech Republic and Hungary last year and from both guides that lived under the communist rule said that yes it is a little harder now, they would never go back to the old way. Our Hungarian guide said she graduated from high school the year they became an independent country and stated that they then found out everything they were taught isn school from Kindergarten on was a LIE. Seems like we have the same thing happening here in our school systems.
