  How long have minorities been screaming about being mistreated by the police, and until the widespread use of cameras most of the public either didn’t believe or didn’t care? Now we are getting a glimpse of what these people have been dealing for decades. These cops deserve nothing less than life in prison.

  It’s not just minorities, it’s all poor people. Last year I receive a beat up old Ford Fiesta on a debt. The thing got forty miles to a gal and was dependable as hell. I used it to run errands, I had to get rid of it because every time I went out in it the police would stop me. I haven’t been stopped in years until I started driveing the old clunker and then I was stopped six times in a little over two months.

  What in the hell are these people talking about? A gun that was advertised on the internet and then sold in person? How is that any different than advertising in a news paper or anywhere else?
  Unregistered? Guns have to be registered now?
  Is there anything about this story that makes since?

  What kind of BS are they spreading? any licensed dealer has to conduct a back ground check regardless of where the sale takes place, be it a gun show or their shop. Any one who buys a gun on the internet has to have the gun shipped to a licensed dealer who runs a background check on them before they are allowed to pick up the gun. There is no gun show loophole!

  Exactly what does everyone on here think the “universal” part of “universal background checks” means?
  Plenty of Americans know that there are already background checks in place, AND that in most jurisdictions they only apply when buying from federally licensed gun dealers. That means, if you buy from a dealer who isn’t federally licensed, or at a gun show, or from a private individual, there is no background check,
  THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A NON FEDERALLY LICENSED DEALER ANY DEALER HAS THE SAME BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS REGARDLESS OF WHERE THE SALE TAKES PLACE

  which is a huge loophole for criminals and the mentally unstable to be able to take advantage of. It would be like if the age of 21 were only enforced at the liquor store, but anyone of any age could buy alcohol at the grocery store, the gas station, or bars and restaurants – the 21 year old drinking age would be completely meaningless.
  NO IT IS STILL ILLEGAL FOR FELONS TO BUY GUNS JUST AS IT IS FOR 18 YEAR OLDS TO BUY BEER

  That is how the current background check legislation functions. If you’re not in favor of EVERYONE buying a gun being subject to a background check, it makes me wonder who you’re supplying who otherwise wouldn’t be allowed to buy.
  I WANT TO BE ABLE TO GIVE MY SON A GUN WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO A GUN DEALER AND HAVING A BACKGROUND CHECK RAN. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO LOAN MY BROTHER A GUN TO GO HUNTING WITH OUT A BACKGROUND CHECK.

Individuals can sell or give their guns to other individuals with out a check. To change that would mean you couldn’t borrow or loan a gun to anyone, even a family member, you couldn’t take your kids hunting because a child can’t own a gun.If the overwhelming majority of Americans were told the truth they would be against universal background checks.

  Way to expensive, maybe if he would sell the adapters separately. The .22.for one then one for the .38/357 another for the 45acp/45 LC/410 and so on.
