  Why are these people so hateful. And they look like there are some kind of great pretender. They must feel inadequate and the macho tuff guy wanna bees are just trying to make up for their failures. Don’t they know they would be the losers in a civil unrest situation. Some of their mamas need to tell them to sit down and shut up before they do something stupid.

  Spanish class. So learn the language, learn their history, learn their culture, eat their foods, maybe have a dress up day, and yes recite, and maybe even sing their National Anthem, but you don’t pledge allegience to any country but your own; PERIOD! I think the problem in this case boils down to a young teacher not fully understanding the gravity of making a pledge. And by the way, my saying all this does not make me a racist. :)
