    This just in:

WASHINGTON D.C. (AP)- In response to the tragic apparent shoot down of the Malaysian Airliner over Ukrainian Airspace, the White House has announced that the President and First Lady have started the following Twitter Campaign, “#don’tshootourplanes”. The administration is hoping that a large enough group of supporters on Twitter will help influence the foreign policy of the Kremlin and Russian Separatists that are operating in the disputed area and are suspected in firing the Russian Made “BUK” Missile that downed the ill-fated jetliner. White House Spokesman Josh Earnest stated, “By bringing international attention to this crisis, we hope to bring the entire weight of the Twitterverse against those that would perpetrate such a terrible action. This damages all the tranquility we have worked to build over the last six years.” The Russian Separatists were not available for comment, as they were too busy laughing hysterically. In the mean time the President resumed his busy schedule of fundraising followed by two rounds of golf at Andrew Air Force Base.

The Oam dminisration ill openly launt t’s violation of any law or the Cnstitution, sine the knowthey will get away with it. The Congress will “Investigate”, but what comes of the findings?? They get turned over to the DOJ, who, led by Eric Holder, will do nothing. The media won’t report any of it, so they are bullet proof. We have a President and Administration that is above the law. This used to only happen in 3rd world dictatorships or on telivision dramas, but now it is reality. I weep for my once proud nation.

What kills me is he keeps saying “These children, through no fault of their own…” . Sorry Glenn, THEY ENTERED THIS COUNTRY ILLEGALY! They did it, I would say that is their fault. It’s like saying I was speeding through no fault of my own…. I didn’t build the car, and I didn’t set the speed limits, does that mean I don’t have to follow them??

Only reason I subscribed was for Wilkow. Glenn is unwatchable to me now. I almost cancelled when Glenn started his whole support the illegal alien thing, now its a done deal. Not worth my time anymore.

You forgot the bigest and most consequential lesson of all from this race. When you call your base racist, you better hope that the democrats that voted in the Republican Primary vote for you and not the Democrat, and that the conservatives you disenfanchised, don’t fote for the Democrat or just stay home, because then you lost that seat. I for one have been a life long Republican, dontated to a multitude of Candidates over the years, but have now left the party. I will never vote for another Republican, period. Unlike Obama, you can take that to the bank when I say it. Until the Republicans clean house of all these establishment types, not one more dime or vote. I may even donate to ol Thad’s Democratic challenger, which would be the first time I have donated to a Democrat in my life.

Glenn, I appreciate your compassion, however, if we provide them with ANYTHING you are opening the flood banks to more human waves from the third world. We did not ask them here. They are breaking the law. They chould be turned around before they even get on US Soil. If you want to go to Mexico and hand out supplies, feel free. I didn’t invite them here. I am pretty sure if I show at your front door demanding you feed me, house me and clothe me, your security is going to call the police and I will end up in jail or at least escorted off your property. Do not encourage lawlessness.

Bergdahl is a hero, at least to Obama, Hagel, hillary and Rice. He hates the United States just like they do! Did you see how Barry was hugging the Jihadist loving parents?? At best he is a deserter, at worst a traitor. Needs to be tried!!

John, I support about 50% of what he said. That being that the NRA should be foremost a safety and excellence in firearms organization. That being said, I believe that the left has forced them into the position they are in now, to protect our rights. I would say, put firearms back in the education system. Back in the past, until around 1970, rifle teams and marksmanship training were in every high school. Many schools had indoor ranges. Teach children early about firearms safety. Take away the “fear” of firearms, and maybe we would get rid of some of our societal problems. If you look at our culture, when we started pushing more progressive policies in the schools in the 70′s, that was the start of our disintegration as a society. Values, right and wrong, respect are no longer taught. Today we are more worried about Johnny having two dads then teaching the foundations that will enable our culture to survive. At our current rate, I give us maybe 10 years. I weep for my newborn son.

Without Tea Party votes, republicans will lose the House, and never gain the Senate or Presidency. Good luck with that!

It is very apparent that the government no longer represents the people. Sad.

  • August 22, 2013 at 1:18pm

Never did I ever think I would see the day when the instruments that are supposed to protect our rights were so politicized. You cannot trust the Justice Department, the IRS, the NSA, heck even the police. Watch your back everyday. I am amazed at how the press remains silent on the politicization of supposed no bias instruments of government. If a Republican ever returns to office, those that are silent will be screaming. We are seriously on the verge of societal collapse. Sad.

As a recently retired 27 year veteran, there are a few facts people probably arent looking at. I was the Chief of Operations of a major combat division. Many of the suicides and suicide attemps were from soldiers that had never deployed. That is a fact. Many were privates that were in a great deal of discipline trouble for disrespect to drugs. I am not saying there isn’t a problem with those returning, there is, but a large majority are not combat vets. As far as the Veterans commiting suicide, I feel their pain. I have been trying for over six months to find employment. I have a Masters dgree in Engineering and tons of experience in operations, planning and project management, I apply for probably 6-10 jobs per day. Nothing. Dealing with the VA increases the feeling of hopelessness. Just changing my marital status will take over a year. Medical is a joke, and programs for people like me are non-existant. I guess if I want to flip burgers at McDonalds that’s all they see me as fit for. To go from a position where you are respected and a leader, to a place where you feel discarded by your country will push many over the edge.

I feel sorry for you too. People that have no care for the helpless among us, and for all of Gods creatures, deserve our pitty and our love. I am praying for you. God Bless.

I feel sorry for you. God bless, and all the love in the world……

I recently retired after serving over 27 years in uniform. Multiple combat tours, including awards with “V” devices(that’s so you know I am not a REMF). It’s not the military that causes this problem, it is the country. I have a Masters degree in engineering, tons of leadership and management experience and I have been unable to find work for over 8 months. Jobs I am completely qualified for, I can’t even get an interview. I have applied for probably hundreds of jobs. New applications every day. Nothing. There are days when it feels like my country has turned it’s back on me. It can get depressing and make you feel hopeless. I haven’t given up, but understand how some have. Shame on you America.
