  • I recently retired after serving over 27 years in uniform. Multiple combat tours, including awards with “V” devices(that’s so you know I am not a REMF). It’s not the military that causes this problem, it is the country. I have a Masters degree in engineering, tons of leadership and management experience and I have been unable to find work for over 8 months. Jobs I am completely qualified for, I can’t even get an interview. I have applied for probably hundreds of jobs. New applications every day. Nothing. There are days when it feels like my country has turned it’s back on me. It can get depressing and make you feel hopeless. I haven’t given up, but understand how some have. Shame on you America.

  • Are Gun Companies Really Moving to Texas?

@ Emptysuitmom, we were wondering when you would show up….lol…. You got so excited you misspelled “the”. Dude, go back to bed. Your mom is still fixing you your breakfast….

  • Driving a car is a privledge, owning a firearm is a right. I do not register a right.

  • At Ameican Soldier (Seperated), what were you seperated for?? Drugs?? Is that why you are such a RonPaul supprter. I was a combat soldier, and commander in Iraq and Afghanistan. You have no idea what you are talking about. Most civilian casualties were done by insurgents and Al Queda. Get a grip.

At Freedom Fighter, what the F have you ever done?? Have you put on a uniform and protect innocents?? Have you stood face to face with those you disagree with?? Are you willing to stand in front of the tank in Tiennaman Square?? Or are you just some punk ass hiding in your moms basement wearing your RonPaul PJs. All you RP supporters better watch your asses. You may have a former SOF kick your butts for GP. I would suggest you let the family mourn, which is what RonPaul is not doing. That is all. You are irrelivant.

  • Troll much??

  • Are you serious?? No threat?? Today, our phone calls are monitored (Patriot Act), our e-mails are read (Patriot Act), they can lock up any American without charge for an indefinite period (NDAA), there are camera’s on nearly every street corner, the NSA is building a facility that can store all data on every American, the Attorney General has OKd building files on average Americans that are under suspicion of nothing, we have drones flying over our country, and the president kills people by decree. Tyranny?? We have never been closer. And if you think it can’t happen here, Google the Battle of Athens (1946). You need to wake up.

  • Didn’t Hitler use children for his propaganda too? And yes, I am comparing Obama to Hitler. Both were socialists, both were incompetent, and both destroyed their countries.

  • @UsedCzar, you must have been in a support unit…LOL, most African Americans tend to be in support units. I know it sounds bad, but it is true. I was actually a part of a task force a few years ago that was trying to figure out how to recruit more African Americans into the combat arms. My point would be that most of the leadership LTC and down would not support this. I don’t trust many General Officers, they crave power, and are much more political. But I trust most of the LTS, SFCs and Company Comanders to do the right thing. There are some that won’t, but by and large they are good patriotic Americans. However, if you look at McArthur, he razed the veterans camp after WWI that only wanted the payments they were promised….. Kind of like our broken promises today, wait, did I just invalidate my point?? Oh well. I trust 85% of the American Soldiers, and 90% of the Marines to do the right thing….

  • @ Cliff, having served in combat during three tours, both Afghanistan and Iraq, been in countless fire fights, I never used the burst feature on my M4. Crew served are good for suppressive fire(M240, M2), but well placed accurate fire is what takes down the enemy. And, one of the biggest threats is us veterans. Those of us that fought in Iraq and Afghanistan know how to fight a guerilla campaign. IEDs haven’t been a threat in the US, but declare a war on the American people, and those of us that know how to fight, will be a lethal force to have to deal with. But, I still have many of my men that are Active Duty, the military would never fight that fight.

  • Dicks is overpriced. Academy is much better, and has a wide selection of firearms. At least they did until they sold most their inventory over the last 2 weeks….
