Christians are far from perfect. Just forgiven.
I thank God constantly that I am forgiven of my sins.

A 13 year old caught with MJ would get what. A stern talking to and maybe just maybe community service…Uh, that is just about what Josh did get.
First offense, and 13 years old. What he did was wrong, very wrong, but just how bad do you expect the punishment to be?

MSway, did you read the article at all?
He did get therapy.
Do you also question God’s ability to change his heart?

No one has a ‘right’ to marry anyone they desire.
Personally, I want to marry a millionaire, but they do not want to marry me…
or my mom so I do not have to pay inheritance tax, but the evil government wont let me do that either.
So lets not get the word ‘right’ confused here. You do have a right to spend your money where you wish, and you have a right express your opinion with out the government stopping you. You do not have a right to threaten a business with anything more than the loss of your business.

Starbucks bans people with open carry from coming in, yet closedbrain thinks this is fine?
Should the jeweler have a sign up that says no gays allowed in store unless they leave their sexual partner at home?

Glad to hear that Ricco has been eliminated.
Also, all those fines against SouthWest airlines for not doing work on time. Also, it is great that the extreme fines for long on board delays sitting on the tarmac are unconstitutional.
Or you could just be wrong…I wonder which.

This down syndrome actor really needs to get with the program. He should be raking in the money as disabled not being a productive member of society. (sarcasm off) Congrats and how wonderful, I wish that more people that claim to have a disablity worked as hard as he did.
The number of people on disability has tripled since 2000. Are there really that many more people disabled, or have liberals taught too many people that this is a great scam and you can get paid for nothing. Sort of like getting paid to sit home and have more kids…

We get the government and the police we deserve.
Personally, if I was a mayor, I would remove all police from black areas.
it would turn into a little Somalia within 4 hours.
Am I the only one here right now who thinks this is a TRAGEDY??? Big Bully COP who thinks he can come and grab a teenaged girl about 1/3 his size and doesn’t have the ability to say “Young lady you’re not supposed to push buttons” and then get in his car and go. BUT NO, hotshot from 30th prcnt. has to keep pushing… for what? That child was probably scared to death, will never touch a silly button again and I APPLAUD the woman who stood up for her, I would have done the same thing.
PEOPLE ON THIS SITE are making fun of these inner City folks. THEY are trying to write like that think these people talk, they have no sympathy, no empathy whatsoever for these people trapped by the WELFARE net which was put over them for one reason: By stinkin’ white (and con-artist black) politicians to extort their votes – that’s all.
How horrible it would be to have to ALSO deal with friggin’ bully cops – plain clothes as a matter of fact. SO HERE IS WHAT NYC and ALL OTHER COPS NEED TO DO.
1. NO PLAIN CLOTHES. Just the marked cars usually remind people to obey the law…unless they let it get too far out of hand.
2. TALK to people before they try to manhandle them. That is only last resort.
3. GO BACK TO RUDY’S policy of checking the suspicious ones, but leave the rest alone…this guy’s ego was going to rule the day.
and all of you who think you can sit on your computers and knock these people… walk a mile in their shoes.. GOOD GRIEF!!!!
They already have unofficial "no go" zones in places like Detroit.
day beez down wif dat
PattyHenry, the girl went back and confronted the cop after the cops got into their car. A scared person would not have done so. Don’t pretend to assume to know what the cop was going to do.
When I was a kid, I trespassed on some private property and started breaking things. A couple of plain clothes cops caught me, handcuffed me, sat me down and gave me a pretty harsh talking to. Then they let me go. Years later, I went to college and graduated. THEN I married to pick-up truck owning, firefighting, southern-drawl man who is not a bigot and is still in my life twelve years later.
I am thankful to those cops who put me on the right path years ago, though I don’t know what their name are. Maybe this girl was denied the valuable lesson that I was given so many years ago.
Agreed! Politicians need to get out of our lives, but I have a question for those who complains that we are heartless towards the “welfare net”. Giving them money has not helped, so what is your solution? Maybe a little tough love is needed!
I AM A HISPANIC and we lived in POVERTY. We witnessed bigotry, yet we never let it define us, it just made us more determined to succeed. Our house was broken into many times. My father had to save my mother from a gunman once. We walked “the mile”, then my parents went to college and life got better. Now, it is easier for me to get into college and get a job as a Hispanic than my white husband. Fair?
I am tired of cops getting bullied by these thugs.
I am of two minds on this incident and have looked at the website referenced - it appears to be over the top anarchist.
- First since when did we as a people say it is ok for men to manhandle minors of the opposite sex?
- Second, this is a clear demonstration of what happens when policing employees have no legitimacy with the public.
- Given the number of NY law enforcement employees convicted, charged, or under investigation of sexual assault, rape etc..... it appears the adults in this crowd where protecting the child.
The next outrage, when it comes, will in all likelihood, have some innocent as the victim regardless of which side commits the atrocity.
@gadgetecc : God gives us this life and total free will (in America) and it appears you have made the right choices and it only gets better, congratulations, you are a role model (know it or not) to many others.
It appeared to me that the child was just trying to explain herself to the Cop and I felt a lot could be accomplished by the ADULT Cop saying: "I understand that you may misunderstand me, but this is why I stopped...or this button calls us to help people not for false alarms ...or any number of things... " A person trying to understand and be understood stands and speaks and his tone is very different than this thug cop.
I, too, believe in tough love but once you split up the families (no father...your father was obviously around, which is great) and these divided families or what's left of them have no hope, no worthwhile use of time - things just get worse.
MY SOLUTION? Simple: Limit the number of weeks someone can get welfare. Give them obligatory jobs, I don't care if it's assisting in hospitals, parks, schools, where ever, and then require a minmum of 15 hours per week learning the computer. They can work 30 hours a week where ever including the computer. There are plenty of stores who can be asked to donate the "JOB INTERVIEW" suit or dress; there are plenty of people who would be willing to teach basic etiquette...How to meet someone, set a table etc. and there are people who would go block by block and supervise the clean up. (Cont)
(Continued) Businessmen can be approached to help using the common sense logic of:
The more people who can afford to buy their widgets, the better off they'll be. THIS WON'T HAPPEN OVER NIGHT, there will be fits and starts and stops....but this will BEGIN the right path.
YOU all know that the Teacher's UNION (not the Teachers themselves necessarily) but the bloody Union bosses don't want VOUCHERS ... but look at the difference in the kids who get to go to a better school.
WHAT WE HAVE HERE IN AMERICA are the greedy bastards who have taken advantage of our freedoms... it's part of human nature...but we can stop it. DO away with the DOE .... All education goes back to the States and the local Schools. THE BILLIONS of dollars we spend now on education (doing no good) can be spend on real training. IT is absolutely ridiculous that a maintenance man makes more than a teacher; that some Principals gets 6 figures and more than their fair share of assistants, that the Administrative jobs way outnumber the teaching jobs etc. WE KNOW what to do.
But we're going to have to have a MAN in office who can cut without compromise. REAGAN had it half right...but he was bullied into (no border closing for example) ceasing the HUD efforts - seriously - because his rich donors wanted x properties for their new upscaled condos... We need someone who doesn't need to be popular but needs to be a PATRIOT. CRUZ. All problems can be solved if we have the will.
I think you are missing the point. The role of the police is to enforce the law. We give them some leeway on how to do that and when to make arrest calls. That is NOT up to you or me. We don't wear the badge we don't take the responsibility of putting our lives on the line every day for this. You have no right to assume the officer was wrong either way.
I think the officer was well in his rights to arrest her and 'scare her straight'. You give her a good talking to, a quick tour of the jail cell she might be inhabiting and then send her home. That's an old-school lesson that works on most kids.
Now the lesson she has is that she can get away with anything if she gets others around her to back her up and back an officer down just because officers are afraid of some communities now.
So who won here Patty? The law or mob rule? Sounds like you support mob rule because certainly you can decide what is best from your computer AFTER the incident rather than someone who is there.
By the way, that 'ego' you are talking about is called "Command Authority" and the second an officer loses that, lives are in jeopardy as this situation shows. That could've turned ugly fast. If you treat officers nicely, honor their requests, you tend to get that "Command Authority" toned down to nice levels. If you get in their face, they have no option but to increase it.
texasknight – You said ‘we get the government & the police we deserve”, The Bible says this world is not +Jesus Gods+ world we/believers are to spread the Gospel/Good News, you also said “if you were mayor you would remove all police from black areas”, children are innocent & should get the same services as other areas if not more especially if they live in poor neighborhoods.
Worry about your bikers in Waco.
@ SILVERTRUTH… ever seen Sheriff David Clarke on TV? HE is the model all of these cops should follow. There would be no problems with any of these situations if men like him were on the scene. This over-weight “plain clothed” hot shot lost the minute he got out of his car… there was nothing in his body language or tone that spoke of Authority or wanting to keep the peace. YOU probably need to watch it again and when you see that Sheriff Clarke is going to be on Megyn’s or Hannity etc. Watch him. I’d love to see him put in charge of the re-vamping of all of our police forces.
PS: Obama doesn’t want the LOCAL police (the ones he can’t control) to have any serious weapons… I don’t know what planet anyone else is living on but those of us who are here and paying attention know that we have from now until that Traitor-in-Chief departs office to hold America together any way we can..because he is doing everything and I mean every thing, to destroy us in every way. HE KNEW ISIS was going to take Ramadi so he finally sends in Special Forces to knock off that ISIS accountant..? At least our great guys came out with a lot of INTEL if that SOB in the WH doesn’t cause it to go “missing”. It’s on, people… what other proof do you need?

I strongly prefer McDonalds coffee. They still brew it very hot so you get a good cup.
Unlike Stars where they no longer even know how to make a regular cup (venit? lol) of coffee. Recently my realtor insisted we stop in and she treated me to a cup. 20 minutes later, after they forgot, I finally got my straight cup of coffee.

I agree with what this gentleman started saying. The largest reason women are paid less is because many do stay home.
However, I would strongly disagree that women should stay home, and those that do are happier.
Women should do what they want, not what some man on TV, or some moronic feminist tells them to do. If they can afford to stay home (on their dime, not mine or the government’s dime) at wish to, more power to them.

Most are not be indoctinated. My daughter went to a ‘good’ public school, and never had a government class, and did not take history in High school, only what she got in elemetary school.
It does kind of explain how we could get Obama…When many do not know our history, or what government does.
Sadly, remember, their vote counts just as much as yours. See Shelia.Jackson Lee or Pelosi for other great examples.

Most university employees are great. Many are students themselves. This young lady appears to be nuts. It is some (I repeat some, not even close to most) tenured proffessor that seem to forget who pays their salary.

I am a LARGE man (6-6, 390), and normally board late so I do not have to sit in crapped seats any longer than I must. The last time I flew, I had a middle seat near the back. There were 4 open middle seats as I approached the back, and everyone had that same look of fear on their face that you had. OMG he is going to sit on me….
Well as I got near my seat I said in a loud voice so all those around could hear. “You are all winners….except you two” pointing at my seat. Everyone cracked up including the two gentlemen I sat with. Ended up being a nice flight and everyone was in a good mood from then on.
When my daughter was young, and we were not seated together, I would always ask the people in the aisle she was assigned if they could watch her, she normally doesnt cry too much. For some strange reason, some one always offered to trade seats with us…
Attitude and humor can work wonders…
I love your sense of humor, it's disarming and it made me laugh out loud reading it!

Well if they were nice looking, I could see just enjoying the inflight entertainment…
And if that does not work, just ask where you can put the one dollar tip for the lap dance.

She is pretty.. uh did she write anything? I have the same problem watch Fox and Friends in the morning. I never realize the ladies say anything…
Okay, sexist pig turned off.
Funny, but I am willing to bet a nice smile and a request to remove the feet from her face might have worked.

Personally, I would think this is a great chance for the preacher to talk of sin and the need to repent. Before doing the Baptism, he could even talk about the evil of homosexuality, and the challenge this child will endure to be raised Christian in such a home.
I think the church could do the same for gay marriages. A long sermon, then announce that the union can not be blessed or sanctioned by God, but you are now married in the eyes of the state…It might be the only chance to hear this for many attending these services.
You know not the Episcopal way. They openly embrace homosexuality, indeed have many clergy openly gay, and even some married as gays. They are not the same church they were in the 50s and before.
If homosexuals wish their own church the Episcopal is the best chance today. I'm not sure how God will deal with this one as I am told not to judge, however, I have left that particular grouping and pray for their enlightenment.
 May 11, 2015 at 4:58am
Why deny the baby? You act like a few drops of water will save this child. It will not. Just like Mormons praying to save their ancestors will not. Their is only one way, and that is a personal relationship with Jesus.
Thus this ceremony is not about the baby, but about those raising the child, and their commitment to raise them according to the Christian faith.

No need to apply.
Can not have him raised in a terrorist bigoted home.
Remember the left says Christians need to be watched, and of course you label yourself as heterosexual, so are obviously a bigot….
